Provided by SuperpagesI was very excited to see that there were several animals at this zoo that I had never seen before! Also, the way the scenes are set up allows you to get really close. We had a lot of fun looking at all of the different animals: sea lions, a white (albino??) alligator, huge snakes, bats, meerkats, baby giraffes, and creature that looked like a zebra, but is a descendent of giraffes...just to name a few!

Provided by SuperpagesThe Houston Zoo has much to offer. I became a member and will continue. You save money & have more fun year round! So many behind-the-scenes-to-do activities for family & friends. From private morning and evening flashlight tours, to captivating learning conferences about wildlife & rescue efforts all over the world. They have overnight camp fun, Mini carnivals with a mission (last one they traveled around the world in search of stamps and treats and got prizes after completing the tour!), Food & Music festivals, Adults only events, Family events. Summer, they have water fans to keep you cooler. They have every kind of food & fashion too. You can recycle the maps on your way out to help keep Texas green. You can book parties & catering events. I recommend the Houston Zoo because of the different activities, wide range of animals & informative information throughout the park. Staff is always around to answer your questions. We learn so much on how to help conserve & keep Texas green!
