Humphrey Company, Inc ( HCI ) was established in 1951 by James B. Humphrey, Sr. In the early days, HCI worked only on residential and light commercial plumbing projects. In 1970 James B. Humphrey, Jr. joined HCI and in the past twenty years HCI has changed from a company which only bid work in the Public Sector to a company that works mainly in the Private Sector doing design build, hospitals, lab work, interior build out, multi-story office buildings etc. We are still a plumbing only contractor. Humphrey Company, LTD has always been a plumbing contractor with no involvement in side businesses. We are a union plumbing contractor, that employs 75 - 150 people in Houston and the surrounding cities. Currently, the majority of our work is for hospitals and multi-story office buildings. Humphrey Company, Ltd is known as one of the very best commercial plumbing contractors in Houston.
