I am so impressed with the professionalism from the front desk, staff and Dr. Wiltshire.



Everyone was patient and kind. My dog received the most thorough examination I have ever experienced by a vet.



Prices were very reasonable and I highly recommend Lakeside Animal Clinic.

well i like lakeside. but any who i have a 1 year old puppy i have to move i think she is shar pei and lab mix she is as cute and sweet as pie she loves hugs and likes to jump on you. I have had her for a year as far as i know she does not bite. She needs a back yard she is to big for an apartment. my new complex i wil be moving to has a no pet rule. I want to keep her but i cant. she does chew on everything she sees so you have to keep a eye on her as far as i know she is ok with kids but she is 40 to 45 pounds she she will knock them over. i have the out door kennel and indoor crate. she has had shots but i did not take her back for booster and also i think she needs the one that is given so that she can be around other dogs. if interested can contact me and come get her free of charge. i just want her to have a good home where she is loved and can run as much as she likes also if she is kept in yard she is a digger . i am only listing everything about her so you will know what you are getting into. lake side is her vet

We recently adopted our beautiful puppy at a shelter event last Saturday. Our family realized she probably had Parvo by Monday. We went to a local vet (they will remain nameless) and the Vet said they couldn't tell if it was Parvo because our puppy already had a Parvo shot at the shelter, so it would be a false positive. The vet offered to hospitalize our puppy at a ridiculous price and I realized the vet didn't really care or have a passion in her field.



So I called numerous vet clinics in and out of the area and I fell in love with Lakeside after my call to Roni. She gave me great advice and helped me get my baby in immediately. The staff became a family in one day. Dr. Wiltshire treated our puppy like it was his own and after only one day of hospitalization our baby is back home healthy and happy.



I would recommend anyone and everyone to Lakeside. This is far and away the best vet in Houston. The staff is passionate about their job, which is hard to find these days.



I never write reviews, but this is a special clinic with special people.

Our experience at Lakeside Animal Clinic was not a very positive one. Our pet was very sick and urinating blood when the staff tried to sell us a senior wellness blood work package before our pet could be examined and treated by the DVM ownership. This same DVM scheduled surgery five days later to remove a mass he stated his ultrasound equipment found in our pet’s bladder. While waiting for the scheduled surgery on our pet, we had a second ultrasound performed at another veterinarian clinic and the bladder mass could not be found. (all facts supported by our initial invoice, appointment card, and medical records from both DVM clinics)

When I moved to Houston 4 years ago I had no idea where I was going to take my dogs for their check ups. Using a site like this, I read great reviews about Lakeside Animal Clinic and lucky for me... it was by my apt! I have so enjoyed taking my two dogs to see Dr. Wiltshire and his wonderful staff! I love that when I walk in, they know my name and the names of my dogs! Both of my dogs suffered a scary illness this year; but I had confidence in Dr. W and his staff they there were going to take great care of my babies, and that they knew what needed to be done. Both of my dogs might not have made it if it hadn't been for the expertise of Dr. W. I am so thankful to Lakeside for treating my dogs like they were their own! :)

Dr. Wiltshire and his staff have saved our dog on more than one occassion. They succeeded where other vets failed, and they went above and beyond to ensure that our pet received the best care possible. We are truely grateful, and we will continue to be loyal clients as long as we are pet owners.

I have gone to Lakeside Animal Clinic for years, and I have always been very happy with them (both with Dr. Wiltshire and his staff). In fact, I drive 30 miles each way to take my dogs there & I have recommended them to several of my friends. Dr. Wiltshire helped us through difficult times with an elderly dog, and I never felt like I was overcharged or rushed into any treatments. In fact, he has responded to emails after hours when I was worried about my dogs. This is an awesome clinic & I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else!

The complaint is so out of character for this vet and his staff. I found them just before Ike came in because I had two storm phobic dogs. I have stayed with them because of their care both of me and my dogs. I recently called because of two dogs coming down with kennel cough and they made arrangements for me to come in late in the day so as not to infect any other patients that could have been in the waiting room.

Any vet that will work with rescues and treat them the same as any other patient speaks volumes.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of the staff over at Lakeside is the good energy that you feel as soon as you walk through the door. I have been taking my furry children to Lakeside for years and hear me when I say, Dr. W and staff give a hoot about the well-being of the animals. It's not just a clock those folks punch over there, they are passionate about the care they give and it comes across loud and clear. I feel incredibly fortunate having found such a quality veterinarian with a A+ staff. I have and will continue to recommend Lakeside all day long.

Dr. Wiltshire and his team are really great. I have never had a problem with them and love how they recognize me when I walk in, even when it is an unplanned visit to pick up some medicine. They have always been caring and understanding. Dr. Wiltshire has taken the time to explain any issues and resolve our concerns. We have actually moved further away from this office but continue to go because of the staff and Dr. You won't be sorry if you plan on taking your furry kids here!

I am so sorry to hear that someone is bad mouthing Lakeside and do believe they are just unhappy in life and looking to make someone elses life miserable!! I started bringing Pico to Dr. McCann almost 6 years ago and when Dr. Wiltshire stepped in and took over I still feel Pico, Lucky (our new addition to the family) and I are part of the family and that all your staff treats my babies like their own and I especially like that you and everyone there are available at a moments notice!

Whoever is writing bad reviews about Lakeside is an idiot...I have seen and heard horror stories about several other vets around town, why dont you try one of them, they deserve to be bad mouthed!!!

My husband and I moved to the Houston area in April. We soon needed to find a veterinarian for our 3 animals (2 cats and a dog). I began searching for someone close to us in Westchase and found Lakeside Animal Clinic after reading overwhelmingly positive reviews of the clinic. I was so impressed with the professionalism and compassion of the staff. Our animals are like our children and we needed someone who we really trusted to take care of them. We've now moved nearly 30 minutes away and we're still seeing Dr. Wiltshire because we LOVE them!!!! I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends :)

I stumbled across Lakeside a few years ago when looking for a vet to do the first few rounds of shots on a puppy I had just brought home. 3 years later, and another dog added to the mix, we are still VERY happy customers of Dr. Wiltshire and his whole staff. Our second puppy that we brought home, Dr. Wiltshire told us on her first visit, had a pretty dangerous heart condition. He made sure he kept a very close eye on her. We had to make frequent visits for quite a while, but Dr. Wiltshire was incredibly mindful of our tight budget and he did everything he possibly could for Lady. He recommended a great facility for her to undergo surgery that would also not necessarily break our bank and let us pay using a payment plan. BOTH of our dogs are both very happy and healthy and love going to Lakeside since everyone there dotes on them and gives them tons of attention. The great thing about Dr. Wiltshire and his entire staff is that you can tell that they genuinely care about their clients...both the pets and the people. You'd be hardpressed to find a veterinary clinic that rivals this one. They're fantastic!

My daughter and I have been going to Lakeside Animal Clinic for our pets' wellness care since 2008. During that time, we have suffered more than one pet tragedy. What struck me most about Dr. Wiltshire and his staff was how much they truly cared about the welfare of our animals during those times of crisis. They have been there for us and our "furry children" whenever we have needed them, often going above and beyond to meet our specific needs. Never once have they overcharged us or tried to sell us something unnecessary. In fact, there have been a couple of times when they waived their fee altogether. Dr. Wiltshire has such a gentle and genuinely caring manner with animals, and his staff is so friendly and helpful -- I am truly proud to recommend Lakeside Animal Clinic!

I was disheartened when I learned the puppy I adopted last year had distemper. The first vet I visited had little hope, prepared me for the worst and sent me home. Thankfully, my sister recommended I obtain a second opinion from her vet, Dr. Wiltshire. His care, devotion, knowledge, professionalism and kindness were evident immediately. Dr. W and his staff were realistic, yet hopeful, as they accurately treated the usually terminal disease. During the entire process, Dr. W was readily available to us at the office or by phone/email, responding at all hours as he expertly coached us through the dreadful disease. Today, Sofi is a healthy and happy puppy, and I couldn't imagine trusting her care to any other doctor but Dr. Wiltshire. Since the distemper, Dr. W. has diagnosed and treated Sofi for skin allergies and impacted glands. In all cases, the initial advisable treatment was the least invasive/expensive, and was accompanied with the recommendation that treatment would expand slowly only as necessary. The prices are fair, options are presented without bias, and the staff is responsive, professional, friendly and compassionate. The entire office is a class act. I have had the pleasure of recommending Dr. W. to two friends and they experienced the same exemplary service. I am proud to recommend Lakeside Animal Clinic.

My dog scratched himself a lot and I have never been able to find a vet that can figure out the real problem and get him some relief. I found this place through google and read some great reviews on how great they were so I thought I'd give it a try. From the moment I stepped foot in the door, I knew this would be our permanent vet! Dr. Randy was able to get my dog's allergies undercontrol-turns out, he's allergic to fleas! I was so happy that we found out what was wrong with him. The doctor was so nice to us and very knowleadable. Im glad we came here!

I brought my cat here a couple of years ago and I did not like it, the lady at the front desk was blunt, rude, and even jokingly cursed-VERY unprofessional. The vet was never in and I never knew what was going on. I recently made an appointment because my co-worker brought her animals here and told me there was a new owner and told me how great it was, Dr. Wilshire was more than exceptional! I only brought my pet in for vaccines but he went over all the procedures and explained everthing to my husband and I. Ms. Nancy was so kind to us and made my pet feel very comfortable because he was very nervous! Michelle was professional and extremely pleasant. The staff was so well-organized, and the clinic was very clean. Now, if someone tells me they are looking for a vet, I recommend this one because it is so great!

The clinic is nice, clean and smells good. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The doctor is very friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. He also is very patient and answered all my questions very well. After going to three other vets in the past year, I have FINALLY found a good fit. i would certainly recommend anyone to take their pet to this clinic and Dr Wilshire.

Dr Wilshire and his staff at Lakeside are second to none. They really go above and beyond to make you and your pet comfortable and to explain everything to you. I used to go to this clinic about 5 years ago, but temporarily moved away. Back then, there was hardly anyone ever there. Now, both times I have gone, they have been really busy. However, I did not have to wait long. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in the area with pets.

The staff and vet were so friendly and helpful with the care of my puppy. I would recommend that everyone let Dr. Wiltshire be their pet's doctor. I will always take my pets to him!!!
