These people will break every code in the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA). They go by a dozen names and they NEVER shut up so that you can ask a legitimate question. My advice is to just hang up on them unless you can actually find out who they are representing to try and collect from you. Then you can contact the original creditor and let them know what these snakes are doing. Then you go to federal court and sue both, I did and I won.
