Four major problems plague the power industry external leakage, internal leakage, automation and excessive maintenance. In 1973, MOGAS Industries was founded with a mission to design and manufacture the best metal-seated severe service ball valve available to solve those four problems. The C-Series valve is designed for large bore isolation applications. The valve has been designed to withstand temperatures up to 1,652 degrees Fahrenheit and pressures up to 30,000 pounds per square inch. Each ball and seat subassembly is mate-lapped by hand and put through a rigorous testing procedure. Special features include custom bore sizes, floating ball design has straight through bore, bi-directional sealing and field replaceable seats. MOGAS is headquartered in Houston and services the power, process, mining and autoclave and specialty applications industries.
