Provided by YP.comIf I could give 0 stars I would. Very unprofessional, showed up late, complained about moving items. Contacted Rome, who was the person who found the moving company for me and he refused to have any feedback nor did he say the behavior was unacceptable. Save yourself the time and headache of if your items are safe and go elsewhere.

Provided by YP.comI recently used Moving Help Center in Chicago. The guys who loaded my truck did a great job, they moved quick. Very efficient services.

Provided by YP.comGreat movers, super cheap. They were exactly what we needed. 2 guys to unload our truck. I recommend them in Atlanta.

Provided by YP.comWe used them to hire movers to load our truck in Houston, and for a movers to unload us in Dallas.
The Houston team was good. They arrived on time, loaded the truck nice and neat. Nothing broke on the way to Dallas.
The Dallas company, Heavy Duty Movers, did a great job. They were very friendly on the phone. When we arrived, they were already on location waiting. I was surprised to see them unload our 17ft uhaul in 45 minutes.
Side Note: I later found Heavy Duty Movers listed on another site (hireahelper) for almost twice as much.

Provided by YP.comActually, no stars. A totally unprofessional and unresponsive operation. Services for loading a truck was arranged on 6-18-14 for noon on 7-31-14. On that day, nobody showed up. Beginning at 12:30 pm, I tried to call and email both MHC and the local mover assigned the job by MHC, and I continued to do so until about 5:00 pm. MHC never answered the phone, responded to my voice messages or responded to my emails. The same with the local mover. I then had to try to find an alternative local mover, which was extremely difficult on short notice. But I did connect with one local mover who took pity and sent movers to load the truck the night of 7-31. Still, I lost out on a whole day of travel. Also, my $100 expense (plus tips, if appropriate) turned into a $315 expense PLUS another $80 in tips (the manpower was wonderful, working at night after a long day). Although the damage was done, I attempted to contact both MHC and the local movers on 8-1 and 8-2. Again, nobody answered phones, and nobody responded to voice messages and emails. Apparently, MHC takes its $20 up front, and then forgets about you. You are then in the hands of the assigned local mover with no oversight by MHC. On 8-19, shocked that I had heard from neither MHC nor the assigned local mover for 3 weeks, I called MHC. The call was answered. I won't go into all the details, but MHC couldn't care less about my problems. The person I spoke to (Rome) was polite but with an attitude, was non-apologetic, offered no resolution to the damages caused by MHC's failure to perform (other than to return the $20 payment) and had the nerve to say that he never received any voice messages or emails. (It sounded like Rome had been on vacation for 3 weeks, and being a one man operation, had no one else to oversee operations...nor had he checked emails of voice messages while he was away.) So, again, unprofessional and unresponsive. With other alternatives out there, steer clear of MHC. Why take the risk? (By the way, note that the 5 star review on 8-15-14 was from someone named Rome. Hmmm?)

Provided by YP.comThe positives were that the Moving Help Center was quick to find loading assistance for us with short notice. The downside was that we probably got their least professional contractor (I'd hope there's better out there working with MHC). The local contractor in Austin wanted first to come early, saying that they were free at the time. We weren't ready, though, and asked that they come at the scheduled time. At the scheduled time the contractor called to say that they were busy unloading things that "some lady had left on the truck for 4 days" and that they'd be late arriving. Had to call a few times to follow up; finally they showed over 90 minutes late. Three came - two men and a woman. Initially they worked but then I noticed that only one man continued to work. When asked I was told that the other guy felt sick but that the female was helping. Actually she wasn't doing much more than watching at that point. I felt like we paid for 2 guys and got the output of 1.25 guys. One hard working man (brother of the contractor) was still slow going, so I ended up carrying furniture and helping out as I was tired of how slow the process went.
