Provided by YP.comGod’s testing me this month y’all!
So I’ve never used this vet but don’t suggest using them if you also think this is crazy...
The vet is called Pet Check-Up. They’re located off Jones Rd & Tower Oaks. I went after finding two dogs wondering in and out of traffic on Windfern and it was the closest vet to me to check for a chip. As soon as I walked in they told me to get out because I just exposed their clinic to possible diseases like parvo.... ummm unless an unvaccinated dog is on the floor, which it shouldn’t, the dog is okay but fine be extra cautious whatever I go outside. They come out check for a chip both have them so they go in and start calling. I put them in my car, running with ac on blast of course and walk in. They say they have the dogs on file there, meaning that’s their vet and that they have the same owner. Great. I asked if they got ahold of the owner and they said no, I asked if they could board them and they said no because they don’t have anyone there for the weekend and the owners won’t want to pay a boarding fee. I said okay what can I do I can’t keep them with me, they said you shouldn’t have picked them up then!.,.
They said we tell people when you see a loose dog turn your head and run away! I was in shock! I said well that’s sad because if my dogs got out somehow I’d hope someone would get them for me. They said then that’s not a responsible owner. Hello accidents happen! So guess what they told me to do... they gave me the owners address, which I’m sure should be violating some sort of privacy term, and told me to go dump them back in their backyard!!!
Being in rescue I understand a bit about putting on our goggles because we are already over full at rescues and shelters but these guys had collars and even a leash on one. I was just so appalled I left. Driving I was on the verge of tears because I was so mad. Luckily I went to the address which was 10 miles away and parents were home and so happy to have their dogs back!

Provided by YP.comI really liked the Vet. She loves animals and it shows. The office staff is a bit rude, but I care more about the vet. She's good. you can trust her. I'm an ER nurse, they know what they're doing and they're inexpensive.

Provided by YPmobileDr Hudson and her staff are rude, uncaring, abusive and condescending. The experience I had with my sick pet was horrible. Dr Hudson gave incomplete exams and when questioned she yelled in front of the entire office belittling my pets health. I was so shocked!! Dr Hudson made no attempt to help my pet or my pets help. Her license should be taken away!!!

Provided by YP.comWe were lucky enough to find Dr. Hudson a few years ago. She is the most caring and loving vet we have ever had. She will actually get down on the floor with her patients and relate to them on their own level.
Our son's dog just had seven puppies and she has been wonderful with them.
We wouldn't go anywhere else for our pets' care. We highly recommend Dr. Hudson to everyone we meet.
