I am currently packing my bags while I am writing this review. I have had quite a few bad experiences here and wanted to write a review immediately several times. I then decided to write a review when I finally moved out to make the review worthwhile to read for anyone thinking about moving here. I am one of the first residents to have moved in this apartment complex around 2012. The interior is quite nice for the price. Tallish ceilings, wood floors, faux-granite countertops etc. The upkeep and the maintenance never was a problem for me. My first problem I ever had here was when they hired a tow truck company and changed the parking policy (have a parking sticker). There was never a parking space available even before the policy, I would have to park on the other side of the road and walk across the street to get to my apartment My car was at the shop and I was lucky to have been loaned my friends Maserati for the weekend. I woke up and thought the car had been stolen. I ran to the office and this light skin hispanic man had nothing to say except "sorry mam policy just changed 3 days ago" in such a spiteful and sarcastic tone. I went up to the towing company and 3 or 4 other Queenston residents were there. Their policy was that if you don't pick up your car after 5:00 pm, you will be charged another $250. It was 2:00 p.m and the sleazy tow truck owner comes around 6:30 p.m. Guess what happened? Everyone got charged for another day! $500 to the tow truck company (i wander how much the cut Queenston Manor gets out of that). Along with the charge, they damaged the car by not using a flat bed. Another $10,000 in repairs and I couldn't even bother taking legal action. On another note; The community and residents have completely changed. When I first moved here, the residents were typically working college students that were never home, young couples with a new child or a working single mother with a young child. Now on the other hand, it's really became a new resort for a "very loud crowd". It's usually a family of 4 in one apartment now. Loud music is blaring from someones car everyday around 4- 5 p.m. Cop sirens are heard at least every 3 hours from the highway. I have an upstairs neighbor with 2 kids and he loves to play with his basketball until around 11 p.m. No exaggeration added, I thought they were moving furniture the first two weeks. I didnt come here to write an overall bad review. There are some good things about the neighborhood such as the Queenston Grill, their gym, short distance between stores and the security is decent. Good luck on your search!

If could i would not give the place a star at all. First off parking is ridiculous!! I honestly think that parking was not taken into consideration when building this complex. Thank God the pub is closed not only was the person running it rude and had no customer service skills. It took up all of the guest parking. What little there is of it! Dare not have your guest park inside the gate to keep them from taking the long hike to your apt, because they will be towed. The staff is very , cold and appear to never have concerns so lower your expectations and then lower them again if you expect more. The stairways stay grimmy and disgusting due to trash being carried down to the dumpsters. The fitness center occasionally becomes a hangout spot for children where they play on the equipment. The noise factor of the traffic going down queenston sounds like LA traffic during rush hour all day until about 12 midnight. The gates are constantly either broken or just not working. I came home one night to a van full of kids dancing around 11pm in the parking lot and playing music. There's a non emergency patrol number we are to call in some instances that no one ever answers. Sontimes the dumpsters are overflowing with trash and is very unsightly. For the amount of rent charged its not worth it! Unless its your last resort

I agree with the rest of the residents.. and the reviews here. The management and staff do not care about the residents, and they are very non responsive to the requests it took me request upon request upon request to finally get my microwave replaced. They towed my car twice and never made amends. Corporate does not care and this is a haven for druggies. Police are here quite often. This is an aweful place to live.

This place is the pits for the price you are paying. The noise level from the street is horrendous. I practically have to sleep every night with ear plugs just to be able to fall asleep. The trash dumpster is a big problem on the weekends as it overflows out onto the street practically. Parking is a nightmare for visitors since they have to park out near the office and walk a long ways to your apartment if you live near the back. Overall, this place is a waste of time and money. Can't wait to move out when my lease ends in 7 months. Thank God I only signed a 7 month lease.

Came out this morning to go to work and found my rental car gone!!. I thought it had been stolen. I was informed by a neighbor that it probably had been towed; and it was!. Kia dealership leased it for me until today until my vehicle was fixed. I have only lived here 2 months and it has not been a good experience. I hope the complex makes this right because the way they are handling the parking is costing their residents A LOT of money, which I plan on fighting if it is not made right. Time to get in touch with Corporate.

My daughter lives in this complex and it is horrid. Not only is the parking a joke as stated in other reviews, they handle it by towing residents cars for grounds such as "backing in a parking space." While staff back their own cars in to parking spaces. Getting in and out of the complex is a nightmare, visitors have to park outside the gates with NO PARKING available. Don't waste your time looking here, you will be thoroughly disappointed. Just waiting for the lease to be up so my daughter can get out of this complex.

Parking is a joke. Their rules on parking are a joke. Head in parking only, visitors have to park outside the gate, but they're aren't even 20 spaces or there! There is even enough parking for residents inside the gate. The staff is RUDE. The noise from other cars who like to sit in their car and rev their engines is unbearable, but management does nothing. They still have not given me a copy of the mailbox key or a control clicker for the gate. My husband had these things, but I should too. And the clicker he has only works one side of the gate, the entrance and not the exit. They have so many stupid little rules, the parking, how many guests you can have over at a time... it's crazy. Like I said the staff is rude and incompetent. Can't wait for my lease to be up!!

Parking is ridiculous ! If you work nights then prepare to park all the way on the opposite side of the complex just to find a parking! They did not think this through to have 216 apts and not enough parking. Or maybe it was a part of their plan all along to get you to rent the detached garage for $100 a month!!! This is the worst parking issue I have ever seen! The only way it can be fixed is to actually enforce parking so visitors don't take the resident parking. Or get rid of some of the detached garages! What a waste!! Complete scam on those garages!!!!!!! They are not even conveniently located close enough to your apartment for such a ridiculous price! Very disappointed to be stuck in this situation and have to struggle for a parking every night! AND they are still trying to lease more apartments knowing the parking issue!!
