Good afternoon,
My daughter had a birthday on june 4 and got two zhu zhu pet. Well she got two of them but one of them is damage and I tried to return it today on june 7 without a receipt because I lost the receipt. I called first and the clerk said no problem but when I got there the manager-Terry inform me that she refuse to even exchange for the item because the name tag was not on the zhu zhu pet. I'm sorry but how is a 8 year old kid suppose to know that she can't tear the tag up or keep it in the box until we know its good to open. Does hallmark not warranty there items in the store. The item was only $7.99 and was it really worth losing the customer to refuse to do an even exchange. The manage Terry told me that the item can not be resale because of the name tag that was missing but why would you resale it, when the item is damage. I have no control when a kid get excited and starts opening her present and she does not know any better to keep everything together in order to return anything. I really think it a bad decision on this manager Terry and she was not very friendly about it after I explain the situation. And could $7.99 really break Hallmark business to do an even exchange on a damage Zhu Zhu pet.
