I was pleasantly surprised to find that Pastor Brown of Salt Mine Ministries was very well studied in the word of God. She is an exceptional teacher, preacher, and counselor. Pastor Brown also carries the Theology credentials to fortify her standing as a community and spiritual leader as well as role model; she has earned a degree of Th.D (Doctorate in Theology).



There is a warm, caring, loving, and spirit filled atmosphere at this church. It is a small white church that sits on an inner city block that shines as an oasis in this neighborhood. I happen to prefer smaller churches, as I have attended some of the mega churches in the city and felt lost in the shuffle. At this church I am fully engaged in the Chrisitian spiritual experience.



All of the members were welcoming, very nice, and inviting. I enjoyed the service and have attended several times since my first visit. I am now under serious consideration of joining this ministry. They even serve breakfast after the morning service (How cool is that?) :-)
