This place is small (at the end of a little strip shopping center). There is no where to park other than blocks away on the street and you don’t want to take a really great car around this place without being fully paid on your theft and vandalism insurance. If that’s not bad enough just how many lip puckering shots can you belt down without getting violently sick or falling down drunk. Either way the Shot Bar has policemen on-site to quickly hustle you out or maybe throw you in jail once your tolerance to their vile shots have been reached. There are many places to have fun in Houston; but, this place is only designed for people that want to quickly get drunk - not one of the places to enjoy partying with your friends and have a real good time.

Big waste of time

Wish I would have went to the next bar first, it would have made my night out alot more fun. I just came into a good amount of money and was looking for a place to spend some of it with about eight of my friends. When we came across this place we were going to give it a try but that didn't seem to go that way. The door guys Saturday night 1-24-09 sucked I agree with the last person who commented they must be racist or something. I counted about twenty upper class younger looking WHITE customers walk out and instead of letting the people in line go in, the door guy on the exit side let about ten WHITE customers go in through his side. When we asked why they were let in he stated that they were regulars. This was after I asked him if they were at capacity which he did say they were I understand that there are rules and regulations to follow but if you tell someone that your at capacity then you let about six people walk in before any come out that means your over capacity. The door guy then looks down at my friends shoes and tells him that he couldn't come in with work boots on, they weren't even work boots they were an older looking pair of POLO boots. Right after that we decided to leave as we started to walk away we looked over the fence and spotted a kicker wearing some boots that looked like he just finished working on the farm. When asked about his shoes there was no comment from either of the door guys. One thing good about that door guy on the exit side is he did spot a fake ID confiscated it and kept an underage person from possibly getting into trouble. I wish I had something else better to say about this place.

Biggest Waste Of Time Ever!

This was the worst place to go out to in Houston. The service sucked and the door guys were the most racist people I had ever experienced in my life! If you are wise you wouldn't waste your time or hard earned money at this daddys money type of place. Worst time ever! Thank You For Reminding Me Where I Belong! The only way this place could get better was if different people ran the door!

The Shittest Bar in Houston

We had made reservations for the Shot Bar because my friend was celebrating her bday. Even with a credit card reservation, most of her friends had to wait over an hour to get into the club. Note to self, if you are not a yuppy white upper class citizen who isn't going to tip the door man, don't expect service from the door man up to the managers. Also make sure you are dress like you rolled off of Paris's fashion week runway, because for some reason, you have to be in $150 pair of jeans to get in. Highly recommend that if you are thinking of going here, to check where your status is. If you are a normal American, you would want to go somewhere else. Don't waste an eveing here at this discriminating place.
