Let me start by saying I love a good dive bar. So, I thought I'd give this place a shot since it's near my house and would be very convenient location for an after-work drink. The drinks were expensive and the waitress was completely inept. Despite the price of the drinks they used bottom shelf liquor and even four martinis could not drown out the rhythmic thumping of some sort of Euro-trash techno and the pungent smell of several hookah smokers located in what looked like a collection of goodwill furniture in the corner of the bar. All I can say is bizarre....



When I received my bill, the price that I signed for was not the same price that was on the final bill. Apparently, they decided to add a gratuity since I was with several people and had no announcement of the auto-gratuity on the bill. The worse part is they still left the tip section on the receipt so some poor drunken sole, not realizing he had already payed a gratuity, might leave another!



I am truly embarrassed for the owner of this bar. The concept makes no sense, the staff have no idea what they are doing and they are dishonest on top of that.
