Provided by YPmobileI took my disabled daighter to their office and I felt the dentist did not even want to try to fix my daughters tooth ache, she felt no simpaty for my daughter and after a minute of trying to see my daighter's tooth she claimed my daughter did not understand the concept of staying still and pretty much kicked her of the chair, every time I go here they don't do anything and just keep on sending me some where else. The assistants are very rude but the main monster there is the Dr. Lynh Trahn miss treating a dissabled kid (my 5 year old daughter)

Provided by YP.comTrue Hell on Earth!
Dentist are the worst in the business. Super rude to patients and assistants! You wait forever just to have some nitwit screw up your mouth and over charge you! If you don't want to be over- charged or have to pay someone to repair their mistake, stay clear of this Dental office!

Provided by YP.comI went there to be referred to an periodontist because I'd been told from previous, qualified dentists that I had periodontitis. First of all, the completely unqualified hygienists there told me that I didn't have it just by looking at my gums, then when I protested and they probed around, they conceded. Secondly, they told me I had cavities without even taking an x-ray (and the only way you can tell by just looking is if you see a black spot, and my sister looked and didn't see any). I went to the front desk and received dumb explanations like "Oh you must chew gum a lot". When I went to a qualified dentist, he assured me I didn't have those cavities. South Texas Dental is just obsessed with making money, and it's saddening that they target people that don't know any better.

Provided by YP.comI took my kid to this Dental office for 3 years. It was always an OVER-BOOKED CIRCUS! The 'professional' service was terrible. The staff was uncaring, the dentists impatient and rude and the wait was long dispite coming in at the scheduled, appointed times. Their service was:
• Get as many patients booked as possible
• Get their insurance info for payment assurance
• Let them wait - at any costs
• Take x-rays 'At Every Visit' for assured billing
• No professional recommendations
• Exercise predudice
My kid is now at a better Denists - Ones who are caring.
On his first visit, proceedures to get braces were put in place. Now, two years later, my kid's teeth are healthy and they look great! I could'nt be happier!
Avoid the riff - raff!

Provided by YP.comPlease don't go there. My ordeal was the worst experience I have ever had at a dentist's office. I now need to go to a "real" dentist to get South Texas work repaired!!!

Provided by YP.comWarning - don't ever go to this location!!! The doctors and hygienists will make you wait more than an hour to see them (even if you are on time). They pretty much book more patients in one time slot than they can handle and they don't care if they have to rush you out the door. Their motto is to drill, fill and bill. No exceptions.
From my horrifying experience, my hygienist started using the scalar and pushed all of my gums inwards. Often she would hit her instruments against my front teeth because she was careless or couldn't see where my mouth was. After 10 minutes she sent me out so she could start another patient. At the end, the doctor never came in to check on my teeth and I didn't think to look in the mirror to see if everything was ok. An hour later I looked in the mirror and there were large gaps in my bottom teeth. Basically, my gums were pushed so far down that there were large gaps. How unsightly. I was pretty distraught over all of this and made my way back to the office. The doctor spoke with me and gave me BS answers - going as far as saying, "Oh you probably never had a good cleaning before." I really believe the hygienists there are not well trained. This was my first and last time that I will ever resort to cheaper dental care.
I am a dental student and I vow to never let one of my patients go through what I have gone through.
