Provided by YPmobileRecommended on a weekend when my regular vet was out of town. They accept walkins & had all necessary equipment to run the needed tests for my boy. I was most satisfied with the care & treatment of my valuable show stud. Considered the end cost to be very reasonable. I highly recommend over the Gulf Coast ER Clinic.

Provided by YP.comDo not take your pet here. We came after midnight because of an emergency, and waited for half an hour for the vet to show up. Our dog had diarrhea and bleeding from the rectum but the vet told us that the bleeding was not so bad compared to the other dogs who were getting treated in the clinic. They made a blood test of our dog twice, we filled out the forms twice, they printed invoices twice because they were not sure what to do with our dog, and finally after two hours of waiting and after we paid more than $1,800 they took our dog for treatment. Our dog who was a happy puppy just a few hours before we came in died at the clinic six hours later. I think that if anyone comes in with a sick dog after 12 am because of an emergency they should not wait 2 hours before their dog gets treated. I believe that this clinic values money over the lives of our pets.

Provided by YP.comI will never bring my pet here again. Sunset uses fear mongering to run up a huge bill.
We were going out of town and arranged to board our cat here. After we dropped her off, the vet called and said that she wasn't eating and gave her an anti-nausea pill, even though she had not vomited. That didn't work so they gave her an appetite stimulant - didn't work either. Then they actually examined her and saw she had mouth ulcers. This is typical of Sunset's incompetence - instead diagnosing her, they shoved different pills down her throat, costing me $ and putting her through treatment she didn't need.
This was 1 of many new problems they claimed she had and we had to pay for. They used fear to pressure us into agreeing to more expenses.
When we picked her up, she was weak, sick looking and strangely dirty, with feces stuck in her fur.
What should have been a $150 bill ended up being $1,000+. Our regular vet told us that Sunset is known for price-gouging. Do not take your pet here.
