TC PipeLines is a United States growth-oriented master limited partnership. It was formed by TransCanada PipeLines Limited to acquire, own and actively participate in the management of United States-based natural gas pipelines and related assets. TC PipeLines owns a general partner interest in Northern Border Pipeline Company, which owns a 1,249-mile interstate pipeline system that transports natural gas from the border between Montana and Saskatchewan to markets in the Midwest. It also has a minority interest in Tuscarora Gas Transmission Company, which owns a 240-mile interstate pipeline system that transports natural gas from Oregon to northern Nevada. Based in Westborough, Mass., Common shares of TC PipeLines are listed on the NASDAQ market under the symbol TCLP.
