Provided by YPmobileAfter an accident on her scooter, we brought our daughter to Texas Orthopedic Hospital's ER (since it was a Sunday). We were seen within 15-20 minutes, not left waiting hours and hours. After a set of x-rays, the ER md on call explained to us she had broken her tibia and a bad break. We were admitted overnight and surgery was worked in the following morning with Dr Bloome. He took her early to avoid more pain and to prevent her from having no food or drinks for too long. Surgery went great! She did therapy in the PT job for a few weeks after surgery and now, she's back to her active self. Fantastic job by the surgeon, the nurses and the rehab dept!!!!

Provided by YP.comI had back surgery at this hospital by Dr Kozac. What a huge mistake... It ended up that I could not walk the next morning since the surgery was more extensive. Dr. Kozac never once came to see me after the surgery, and i have Heard that Drs. don't visit patience anymore, but he should have come to see me since I could not walk, He and his asst. Billy acted like that they were so concerned but that was a joke. While in the hospital, there were dirty sheets left on the floor for 2 days, I did not get my medicine as was prescribed since the nurse deemed it not necessary. My daughter was there with me that night, and by the next morning I was in terrible pain. I am sorry that I did not get her name. Then they sent 2 teeny boppers to take me down for some test, and they hit every bump they could find. I told them I had just had back surgery but the wall would have been more compassionate. Dr Kozac's office never told me to come back for a follow up. We finally went back because I was in such pain. He the caring Dr and his associate told me he was not interested in my pain just what was causing it. He never tried to find out though. He was the most uncaring dr and asst that I have ever been too. The hospital was also a nightmare and I would not recommend the place or Drs. to anyone.

Provided by YP.comMy surgery was the first I have ever had and was a knee replacement for a sports related injury done by Dr. Woods. The staff was very friendly, I was made to feel at home and the level of care was unlike any I could have imagined. While the rooms were not private, the level of care was so exemplary, it would be a shame for a potential patient to rule out this top knotch facility based on this one factor. Texas Orthopedic Hospital is revered by the orthopedic community and the reputation is well-deserved. I could not be any happier.
