Provided by YP.comExtremely bad customer services. They miss delivery date for the books and refuse to issue refunds for the customers.

Provided by YPmobileThe owner is a rip off, & cares more about making money one time than keeping a satisfied customer. Workers are beyond slow, which makes lines a nightmare. Save your money & time, & purchase things online elsewhere for cheaper people.

Provided by YP.comAfter being a customer for two years, I had to deal with a very unprofessional irresponsible action. I live in the far Northwest side of Cypress, 50 minutes drive to UH, so I called the store before I go to make sure the book I want was available, I verified the volume and edition, and I got a confirmation over the phone that it's available. An hour later, I was there, waited 45 minutes in line, to finally get to the register, and the clerk told me "Sorry!! we don't have this edition". So I took that sorry that cost me 3 hours of my time, hopefully it will make it up to me. Seriously Textbook Brokers... And you wouldn't even ship the book to me, you wanted me to come back and pick it up in few days. I will not be coming back.

Provided by YPmobileI like this place, they have helped out with renting books and give out free scantrons. I would give a higher rating but I know for sure that one of the employees there (the main female) is a liar. I watched her lie to one student about returning a rented book while the owner was letting me return my rented book at the same time. She also lied to me about the highlighting policy on rented books. She told me it wasn't allowed at all. Not cool! I knew she was lying to me. Don't trust her.

Provided by YP.comI agree that this is the worst textbook shop for students. Don't go there!! They are very untrustworthy. They give you little money when you sell them back. They lied you about the books that was sold to them. They tried to ask your student ID and some other stupid questions. Sometimes, they sell you the older version of the textbook at a cheaper price although they know that the university will not use it any more. I would rather go to Barnes & Noble Book store at the university.

Provided by YP.comI have never in my life been treated so badly by a customer service person in my life. I called this store to get information about this new store and find out how much they were charging for text books. The man that answered the phone first did not listen to my question, then proceeded to talk to other people when I was on the phone, then said he could not help me over the phone and that I would have to come into the store to see the prices. I have called numerous other bookstores around UH to get price quotes with ease. This man said his name was Joe and refused to give me his last name. He said it did not matter and said he was the manager and owner. This is the worst bookstore in Houston. I advise people to stay far away from this horrible business. This man's behavior is unacceptable and very unprofessional. This is the first of many horrible reviews I am giving to warn people about this bad man and his disgusting attitude. This business does not even deserve one star.
