Obviously some of these reviews are being posted by the restaurant staff. This is NOT the place to go for good pasta. There are by far better restaurants in the Heights / West End area.,DO NOT waste your time & money on this place.,Someone please donate a dishwasher to this restaurant.,The spoon on my table had food particles on it from the last customer.,TOTALLY GROSSED OUT!

I went to this place tonight because I had a taste for pasta.,well I don't know how "western" they are but RACIST is written all over the faces of the $2.50hr wait staff and hostess. I was told by a young lady to sit anywhere I'd like and she rolled her eyes. I sat and read the menu for a few minutes.,nobody came over to greet me nor bring me water nor take my order. I noticed a couple of caucasian guys sat at a table next to me. The waiter immediately greeted them brought them water and said he would be back to take their order. Then another family (caucasian) came in and were greeted by the same waiter, he brought them water and smiled widely. After a few minutes I got up to leave, the waiter watched me walk out the door. As I approached the restaurant, the waiter came to the door and asked if I were leaving. I told him yes because I was not being served therefore I was going to Cyclone's across the street. His only statement to me was "you have to move your car off the parking lot." What a idiot!!!!! He obviously don't realize that money is green no matter who you receive it from. As a low budget waiter he should learn customer service if he wants to be promoted to bartender or dishwasher.,I don't understand the mentality of people, especially in 2009., I have not had the opportunity to speak to the owner / manager, however if this waiter was so comfortable with his attitude.,I'm sure it is acceptable to management.

This place is a gem that I just discovered recently. The Italian Calzone is absolutely terrific (and probably large enough to feed two instead of one). The crust is freshly baked and cooked pefectly plus it is stuffed with a delicious Italian red sauce, meats and cheeses.
