I've lived here over a year now. Villas switched to new management called TriStar/SouthStar Management, which I've researched and happens to NOT be accredited by the Better Business Bureau. And rightfully so! This staff has lost my mail packages for a consecutive 4 times in the past 3 months. I've had to jump through hoops just to get my mail. Now, I'm mailing all of my packages to my work address--which is intolerable!



Rachael, the property manager, is horribly rude and has sent out mass emails to residents scolding them for "not being good residents," and she goes on to say that this is, "why she has not been able to address the other issues around the complex."



I have sent the office feedback and email correspondence in the past, but I've never once gotten a response. When I confronted them about it, they said that they delete all of their emails same day without archiving anything -- which, of course is their excuse for 'not having any proof or receiving those emails'.



I also submitted my 60-day notice to move-out to them 2 weeks before it was due and they've denied ever receiving it; so they are now slapping extra fees for move-out. I've contacted my attorney and will be taking further legal action.



They charge ridiculously high rates (I pay over $1300/month for a 1bd/1bath under 800 sq. ft)-- yet, there is such gross negligence with how this management handles service requests and provide very poor customer service!



In addition to the disgustingly rude way they manage their residents, the following is part of a long laundry list of terrible qualities of this place:



- dog poop in the hallways every morning

- homeless residents in your back yard (this is a fact- they live in the ditch area between the complex and HEB)

- water charge increases without notice

- regular billing errors on the online payment system

- unfriendly staff that can't help you because they are "not in charge of that stuff" (really?! What are we paying you for then?)

- office closes early before the actual office hours

- VERY RUDE management



I would've never written this review unless I wanted to truly warn people about the indecency of this place! Beware and save yourself the misery!
