In December of 2014, my cottage burned completely; I hired a construction company to rebuild the home for a specific amount that was agreed upon with the insurance company. After 3 years without completing the house, the construction company walked out on the rebuild and placed a lien on the house demanding $70,000.00 from me. That's when I finally spoke with an attorney and was told I might not prevail with this case even though the agreed amount was paid by the insurance company.
I needed a good attorney who could see the erroneous allocations I knew existed on the lien. I then asked a friend who had worked for many years in the Livingston County Court System. Immediately without hesitation, she said David Prine in Howell is the best attorney.
