This business has turned an exciting dream come true kitchen remodel into a frustration nightmare! Can't even return one of MANY phone calls! I'm going on a month since I paid my money and put in my order,...the install was suppose to be within a 3 week window!!! Nothing,..no phone call, no template,...nothing! Disgraceful!

We hired these guys to install a kitchen countertop and a kitchen desktop. One of Bob's employees, the templater, came out to take the appropriate measurements and neglected to tell me that his intention was to leave a huge gap between the kitchen countertop and the kitchen window. I had to ask how he was going to deal with the windowsill. Rather than cut the stone correctly he thought they could get away with just filling it in with caulk. I told him that was unacceptable. (I think I said, Hell no!) :D :D

Now I'm from NYC. We speak to other adults as though they also are intelligent adults. We don't speak down to adults as though they were children. We don't do baby talk. I spoke to this templater directly, like a fellow intelligent adult. Apparently I was not speaking to a fellow intelligent adult because he got offended. He accused me of being rude and "reaming" him. Not to my face of course. He couldn't handle direct confrontation. Instead he asked to use my rest room and fouled it all up in there. Unbeknownst to him we have security cameras everywhere. (No not aimed at the toilet. Just the door. But the sink is in front of the door.)

Anyway, the owner Bob, was really rude to me on the phone and quit the job right in the middle of a project. It could have potentially set everyone back. However they were replaced within 24 hours so I let it all go. I figured their MO is the best defense is a strong offense so I didn't take it personally. The fouling was just infantile. I cleaned the bathroom and moved on to more important things.

Of course as fate would have it their replacement also did a poor job. They offered to make it right by doing a laundry room sink for free. Six months later they still haven't honored their word so I sent a strong email drawing a line in the sand. Unfortunately I sent it to the wrong person. I sent it to Bob here. Boy did he respond like a lunatic! He accused me of being rude and nasty. (I never spoke to him at all.) He expressed that I deserved to get a bad installer. (!) And then he actually threatened me! He threatened that if I ever warned the public about what a nut job he is he'd take me to court. Well since freedom of speech is alive and well here in America I thought I'd better warn others.

Not only is his installer a destructive passive-aggressive infant, and incompetent. But Bob, the owner, is an aggressive time bomb who seems to enjoy abusing little old ladies. I know I wouldn't want anyone like these two in my home. I'm glad I replaced them as quickly as I did. The new installer got the stone slab close to the window sill with no problem. He, on the other hand, did not get the color match right on the seam. But that's another story. BUYER BEWARE!
