We pulled into the parking lot of this store to see if they could check our battery and alternator. A young man used a portable computerized gadget to let us know that the starter was likely fine and that the battery was fine, but the alternator was only putting out low voltage. He then proceeded to give my husband tips on how to change out the alternator himself! As a result, my husband was able to do the job himself and we estimate that we saved at least $250 doing it at home. The young man at Advance Auto Parts was very nice and helpful. We appreciate the level of service we receive at this store.
