Provided by YP.comCan honestly say that I am not at all happy with my wife's experience with RMCBP. She came in with Chest pain, nasty headache and high blood pressure. The ER wasn't bad although they focused on the chest pain and blood pressure. When she was finally able to get a room, her blood pressure had come down, the chest pain was gone and the headache remained... and still horrible. It was mentioned yet nothing was done. When brought up again we found out that it was never in the notes. Now we had to wait for her assigned doctor to approve the Tylenol. About two hours went by and it was finally approved. Then we had to request her evening meds. Again that took forever to get. In the meantime, she inexplicably vomited on the floor because there were no basins. Nurse left to get one. He returned much later...an hour...and forgot. Disappeared again... still no basin. Oh...I forgot. When she vomited a CNA was in the room. Very helpful and nice. She was a tad LOUD. My problem with her is that she took a personal call... FaceTime... from her son and grandson while in our room! HIPPA??? And did it while a doctor was in trying to talk to us. The vomit was kind of cleaned by the CNA but wasn't actually mopped until 11:30 at night. Almost 6 hours? The doctor that came by was a cardiologist. Once he heard that she had a similar incident almost 2 yrs ago, he dismissed her and said he would give it to the previous cardiologist. A cardiologist she did not want to go back to. According to the hospital that cardiologist was in the hospital and should be by tonight. That was at 7pm yesterday. It's now 12:30pm today. Not a peep. She was supposed to receive her morning meds today...got them at noon. This place is a joke... and not at all funny.

Provided by YP.comThe other morning ( 11/3) I went to the ER because I had a lot of blood in my urine. After several expensive tests and 3 1/2 hrs later, on my discharge papers it said, and I quote, " You have been diagnosed with hematuria" ( For those who do not know, hematuria is a medical term for blood in the urine). Well DUH!!!!!! I already KNEW I had blood in my urine, I brought in a sample with me!!!!! Then I was instructed to see a urologist as soon as possible. Do they know how long it takes to get an appointment with a specialist? Especially as a new patient and on a Friday afternoon? I guess RMCBP didn't have a urologist on staff? Also while I am in an exam room in discomfort and worried about what is happening and waiting on tests, a hospital worker kept bugging me for my co-pay.................. And they will be charging my insurance $ thousands plus my $100 co-pay for THIS ??? ...................The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because I didn't have to wait long to be seen.

Provided by YP.comIt seems like most people write negative results that are not happy. To bad all people do not take the time and write a review when all is OK. I had my mother in this hospital and also a friend in the same time. Both were treated with excellent care. My friend had a triple bypass open heart surgery, went home in a few days. My mother had a problem breathing and also was very well cared for. Her life was saved as her thought completely closed up. She got a trake that saved her life. The only thing they can improve is communications with their doctors. I asked 7-`10 time to be contacted by a doctor. He called once, left a message as he could not reach me and never called again. Besides this there is nothing wrong with this hospital. Usually people that are unsatisfied will write a review, if all would they would surly receive 4.5 stars.

Provided by YPmobileThis place needs to be sued for malpractice and I might be the guy to do it. They screwed up both of parents. Knowing what know now, I wouldn't bring a dog there. Go to trinity!

Provided by YP.comIMO this is a hospital that serves mostly patients with little or no insurance and that affects it's standards. If you have ins. you'll get better care elsewhere. I went to the ER in Jan 2014. The ER dr convinced me stay overnight after scaring me with "you have a weak heart". Was put on a regular floor not cardiac section and not hooked up to ANY machines. When the Lasix they gave me started kicking in, I decided I would be better off, less upset and inconvenienced at home. I left the hospital, whereupon the nurse called my home and threatened me with calling the police. When I got a huge bill from the hospital about a week later,I found they hadn't entered the correct ins. info.Went to the hosp. in person and had to insist the billing person help me. I know enough that any outside billing company is NOT going to listen to any calls from a patient; that any changes HAVE to come from the hospital itself. My info was in the hospital computer but somebody didn't pass it along. I finally got my ins. correct but it took arm twisting. IMO, this hospital experience was a nightmare. SO MANY things wrong.

Provided by YP.comUnfortunately, my family has a high rate of cardiac related hospitalizations and the care each of them receives is EXCELLENT. I live out of state and feel so much better about situations when I know my family is at this hospital. Staff is very professional and courteous. Every public area and patient's rooms are kept very clean. Its hard to review a hospital, but as far as I'm concerned, this is the only hospital that I truly trust for my family's well-being.
