I was very disappointed with the pallid excuse for service we received when we visited Rail Trail a couple weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon after 2 PM.



I was very embarrassed because I brought my realtor and was treating her to lunch. We both ordered the greek salad, mine with chicken, hers without. My fiancé ordered a chicken sandwich.



All of which took OVER 45 minutes to prepare and get to our table. To top it off, by the time we got it, we asked a gentleman who worked there for kalamata olives as there appeared to be none in the salad (traditionally served with greek salad). He got very defensive and told us that the chef chose to mix in the kalamata olives with the dressing and that we should be able to taste it. I was appalled to find the person we were speaking to was the owner/manager!!



The restaurant/kitchen was not busy at all and they should be ashamed that they're even considering expanding before they get their customer service and food to table manners in order first. The waitress seemed to have no concern whatsoever that we were waiting so long for our food and there were at least 3 bartenders on staff who appeared to be having a great time chatting up some of the customers and 'goofing off'.



I will admit I went there previously a week after opening the restaurant with some of my friends and found the pizza somewhat appealing but much too overpriced.



Pick up your service and table to food times and then I will consider returning.
