The owner, who passed away in 2016, was a really good guy. His son took over and all I can say is, find someone else. We asked for a turn key price which he competitively quoted to replace our 3 year old deep well pump. He actually billed us more than double the quote. When my old pump came out of the well I found the same pump for $2200 online. He billed $4500 for the pump saying it was a special order. Throughout the week long process he didn't communicate that the pump was more than double the estimate so that we could pursue alternatives. He also claimed the well was deeper than we stated but I helped him pull the pump and counted each piece of pipe and have pics. It's a simple math problem when you know how many pipe pieces are in the well. During the process I asked about options such as raising the pump to get above the 1000' level (100' static level) and potentially step down to a lower HP pump. He wouldn't even consider it. With the well and pump being only 3 years old, I didn't want to do the same thing with the same results any time soon. Also important to note that the pump service companies more than double the rate to pull a pump over 1000'. To cap it all off, the install ended up with the pressure tank exploding under the house which added a few more thousand dollars to my out of pocket experience. Bottom line, run, don't walk away from this company.

While working on a neighbors water line he cut my 92 year old mothers line and took almost two weeks to fix it back, leaving her with no water. When he did he told her she had to have a new pump and accepted no blame in leaving her without water. She felt she had no choice but tl have him fix it. We are pretty sure that he just hooked the old pump back up and charged her twice the price of a new pump. Never call Hudson Pump!

Had them here yesterday.. I know nothing about wells, pumps etc. They were very good. Pump is fixed, and did the job at an honest price. Will call again if I ever need them
