This is your basic small town mom-and-pop diner where everyone knows your name, the average patron is over 70, and prices haven’t changed since the 1980s.

If an entree with 3-sides and a bread roll for under $10 is what makes this a great dining spot for you and yours, this is the place.

My CFS with cream gravy, mashed potatoes, fried okra and pinto beans (and a yeast roll) plus iced tea for $8.95 was on par with that price point.

Have eaten here 3 times. I've tried their catfish & it was horrible. So dry & tough I couldn't eat it. Tried their chicken fried steak. If you like mostly breading, which is mushy, not much meat, then I suppose a person would love this place. Myself I like tasty, tender steak with very little breading. The third time I ate there, I decided to try a piece of chocolate pie. Now it was delicious & was a very large slice. Equal to about 2 slices in comparison to other places that I've eaten. So I guess if you just want dessert, this is the place. They only take cash, no debit or credit cards or a check. So keep that in mind if you decide to try it out. Service isn't that great either.

The food is tasty, service is fast and prices are low. What more could one ask for?
