Provided by YP.comI have no idea what some of these people are talking about. Givit's is AWESOME. This place has everything you could think of. I have gotten anything from furniture, to artwork, lamps and even some odd ball tools and auto parts. The staff is super friendly and is always willing to help me out. For those who have complained about the prices, you are crazy. Prices here are great. I have been to numerous other stores like this that charge double to triple what Givit's does. If you are looking to start or even find something for the finishing touches of a project, check here. The idea behind re purposing and making something just how you want it is a great idea. Givit's has never done me wrong and they have my full support!

Provided by YP.comI love this place! They always give me a fair price on items and often have things that I need. I've found everything from dishes to hardware to stuff for my garden. They always have free coffee from the Keurig which is awesome to have when it's cold out and I'm looking around in the barn.
I believe the last reviewer was a bit mistaken on the fact that they charge people for their trash.. Givits has a paper and cardboard recycling bin that you can drop stuff in for FREE.. I don't think they take people's trash. And everyone pays for trash service at their house don't they? I don't know about you but I don't know any place that takes straight up trash for free..

Provided by YP.comTruly Hudson's best kept secret!
I always look forward to my weekly stop into Givits; there are always new additions to the store and the prices are ridiculously low. Tamara and her husband are the kind of people you'd want to stop in to talk to each week, even if you left the store empty-handed.
That said, I have found so many extremely cool and useful items there! For anyone with unique taste but a tight budget, Givits Thrift should be your weekly guilt-free indulgence.

Provided by YP.comI just discovered Givits this summer and have come to love this place for the bargains, the creative interior, and the warmth friendliness of the owner and her few employees and friends who help out. Tamara’s husband owns a business up the road from Givits. He is hired to haul junk and other stuff from barns and basements and some pretty grimy places. If he finds something that is still useful, he brings it to Tamara to sell. Smart and very hard working people. This all fits with their philosophy of recycling and not tossing still usable items into a landfill. A couple or single person could stock their kitchen with very inexpensive and often name brand pots and pans and bowls and plates … all for the price of a store-bought frying pan. I tell people to start going there every week because the stock changes often – Tamara has a sale at least once a weekend. Good place.

Provided by YP.comIncredible place!! if your a picker, thrifter, dealer, artist or just like the unusual this is your home. Great people huge selection of items from all time periods and on my three visits they always had exciting sales on top of already low prices. Oh and by the way FREE gourmet coffee. Hope this place lasts, the owners, shoppers and donaters are doing a good service for the community.

Provided by YP.comI love Givits and so does the 20 plus people I've introduced to this little jewel of a store. It is fun and addicting to go see what new stuff is in each week. There is always a deal for everyone in the family and my kids beg to go there. You can find everyday stuff to rare items but the prices always seem fair and the cool owners are always willing to entertain a reasonable offer. This is American Pickers type stuff, you have to be prepared to look but you will find treasures. It is too bad some reviewers had a bad experience but they sound bitter that they couldn't get a STEAL from these folks because we always walk out of there with a great DEAL!

Provided by YP.comDon't bother going! The "name your price sale" was a farce. You name the price and they counter with a higher price saying that the price you named is not enough. It felt like false advertising to us. We offered $15 on an item and they said they couldn't go lower than $25...name your price??? NOT!!! Definately not worth going to a second time!

Provided by YP.comGivits did have lower prices but they seem to have gone up a lot. I have also noticed that they now have a lot of signs that say things like "if you touch this item, you by it!" and "only sold as a set" which is kind of weird for a thrift store. They seem to get offended if you offer a lower price. I heard one of the workers at the store saying something about not lowering the price because it was new merchandise that was just put out. Of course I heard that same worker quote one price to one customer and then a different price to another customer for the same item.
"The only store where you will argue the price is too LOW. We pride ourselv's in pricing so lo that we move items very quickly. People argue we're too lo but thats part of the fun of Givits."
