Friday Happy hour…that’s why I like Marcelita’s. I come at least once a month, have a margarita, some chips and salsa, another margarita, more chips and salsa, and sometimes even another margarita.

Wonderful! We had the Chimichanga dinner and spicy quesofundido, to die for! I left there more satisfied then i have been from a resturant in months! Their margaritas are poured heavy, so the small may be enough for most.

Good food - too expensive for Mexican.

Pretty good across the board and certainly a notch above standard Mexican fare like taco hell. The mole was quite tasty & complex. However, not good enough to drive out of your neighborhood to spend more than normal for Mex cuisine. I'll go back only if I'm nearby.

Their tacos are the best. I can almost fill up on them alone and not be able to eat any of the rest of the delicious food.

We love Marcelita’s! The staff is amazing and many of them have known our family for years. Our children have practically grown up there. They also have absolutely the best golden margarita I've ever had north of the border! Additionally, this is one of the few (maybe only) Mexican restaurants in the area that is really vegetarian-friendly. There are many vegetarian options on the menu and the staff will recommend other options, combinations, or sometimes we even go off-menu a bit.

The service and decor were great. The guacamole was good and the flan was wonderful. The fish tacos though were lacking. I lived in so cal for a long time, and these just weren’t what I was expecting. They were not bad but they were not good either. I can only give this place a 4-star rating because of the tacos.
