DON'T GO HERE FOR ALTERATIONS!! I got a dress hemmed and it was way too short and the hem was crooked. She measured and saw that the dress was shorter on one side. She said it wasn't her fault that the hem was crooked because she doesn't measure the actual dress. She only measures how much she takes off the bottom. THEY DON'T GIVE REFUNDS! The dress is short enough not to drag on the ground without any shoes on. When I went to get it pinned I was wearing 3.5 inch heels. She offered to make it even shorter to even out the hem. However, that isn't helpful when the dress is already too short. She told me I was stupid for thinking I could get the dress hemmed for free.
If it had just needed a little adjusting I would have been happy to have her fix it and pay. BUT... you can't make this dress longer now that it is this short (not without completely changing the look of the dress). She was rude and I am very disappointed to have paid so much for such a terrible alteration.

I took one of my daughter's Ugg-style boots there for repair. The seam on the side had come undone and just needed to be stitched back up. I took it on a Wednesday morning and was told it would be ready Saturday. I went on Saturday around 4:00pm and basically told "Oops, forgot about it". Obviously, it wasn't done and she asked me to come back Monday. Monday around 11:00 am I went back and basically got the same response, "I didn't think you would be here so early". Still not done. Left work early that evening to get back in time to pick it up around 6:00pm. It was ready--finally---this time, but the stitching job was HORRIBLE. The stitches were uneven, the thread didn't match and it looked like a 5 year old did it. I disgustedly paid my $10 and change and left. Not worth anymore of my time.
