Provided by YP.comI absolutely love this vet, but I also have to comment on the absurd negative ratings below. If I had an entire book, I could not write enough positive things about this clinic. I have gone to this clinic for over 20 years. We have taken our pets here since I was a little girl. Now that I am older, with my own family and pets, I still go here and I don't know what I would do without this incredible place. Every person that I have ever encountered at this clinic has been fantastic- but the most amazing person is Dr. Jensen. She is very knowledgable about all illnesses, she cares so much about her animal patients and their parents, she held my hand when I had to put my puppy down, she personally calls to check on pets after every appointment (every doctor does), she tells me what tests are needed, but also what tests aren't needed. I have seen several comments that mention that this clinic is out to get your money, but this couldn't be farther from the truth. I have been advised more times than I can count that I don't need a certain X-ray, blood test or other exam (when the internet tells me I do, after googling worst case scenarios when my puppy is sick). I have been to other vets in the past (when I relocated for a short time), where they not only said yes to every test I suggested, playing into my fears, but they also suggested multiple tests I didn't need. This clinic is not out for the money- because they could have gotten thousands of dollars more from me from tests that they told me I didn't need (i.e., X-rays on my dog's lungs twice a year, blood work more often than needed, surgery that isn't necessary). In addition to bringing my pets to this clinic- I have also rescued several animals and they have always given me great advice and worked with me financially. They also put down a little baby kitten, that I brought in, that was stuck in a fence who was suffering and wasn't going to make it. They did that for free- no questions asked.

Provided by YPmobileUnbelievably incompetent - dr Ramos! She treated my limping very sick dog by x-Rays and told me she had a soft tissue injury. Begged to bring her back to be seen while we Waited and waited for her to refer us to an animal hospital. She REFUSED to see my dog saying I needed to take her to the hospital that she didn't refer me to. My dog was bleeding by that time - Ramos wouldn't see her!
One week later we took her to the hospital and she was visually diagnosed with bone cancer! Her platelets were down (a simple blood test at Atascazoo would have shown this) - she was critically ill! Dr Ramos had the guts to call me AFTER Clover was already too sick to be operated on.
I put her down a week later!
My dog was a family member for 10 1/2 years - our entire family is DEVASTATED!
Tell me, HOW does a veterinary HOSPITAL REFUSE to see a patient????
She is beyond incom

Provided by YP.comHORRIBLE service. I rescued a kitten from a shelter who had a host of health problems. They infected my 11-year-old cat and I brought her in. Two weeks later, the treatment was not working, and they told me to come in. Problem was, they wanted me to wait in MY CAR for several hours. No one told me this until I was already waiting outside for 30 minutes. Totally inhumane, and to boot, zero sympathy from the receptionists (especially Brenda). Stay away ! Not only do they not properly diagnose, they engage in unsafe and inhumane business practices as well.

Provided by YPmobileSpend the extra money and go to an emergency clinic if your vet is closed....do not go here...my dog was in distress and I was there when they opened...I was the only one there but I was made to wait over an hour because I was a walk in.... Over $200 later I still have no clue what is wrong with my dog...the vet is just awful and clueless ...was told to come back in 3 days so they can do another one of the same $70 test to see if it was maybe rat poison....I literally could have just saved my money and drove my dog around in the car a few hours and brought her back home....sorry excuse of a vet.

Provided by YPmobileMy Mom took her boxer that she's had since he was a pup. He was eleven and in such pain and wouldn't eat anymore. She knew it was his time to go. She took Bruiser to Atascazoo because her normal vet wasn't opened on Saturday. They tried telling her all he need was shots and pain meds. She knew otherwise. My Mom knows everything about Boxers, she's fostered, and has even breed show quality boxers. For the staff to make my Mom feel like what she was doing was the wrong thing to do is unacceptable. All they cared about was the money not what my Mom was feeling or what Bruiser was feeling. Do Not take your pets here unless you want to be charged for things that are unnecessary. They even charged her a fee for carrying him inside the building!! He couldn't walk and my Mom has severe back problems!! Unacceptable!!

The hospital is always clean, the doctors are always kind with my pets. The staff is very helpful. I usually don't see the same veterinarian, I asked why and learned that they have several veterinarians that work there. I feel very comfortable bringing my pets here.

Please advise your techs to tell anyone that walkins that they are last on the list and there is no timeframe for when they may or may not be seen by the vet. Also, take care that when you put someone in a waiting room and discuss them it can be heard. I had to sit for over an hour before I asked someone when my dog would be seen. I came in early morning and I don't mind waiting -- just give me the option. I would never choose to go to this vet again...

Good evening Doctor's this is Rose Riggan local Realtor, I would like to thank each and everyone of you for assisting in the treatment of my new puppy, as some of you know it's been touch-n-go, day by day for 1-1/2 wks. He's doing much better, eating each day more than the day before so much today, I thought his belly would bust. I guess it's a good sign. Dr. H. Madigane, along with Dr.D. Ludlow, have always been there even when I wasn't handling things the best, especially with the passing of my beloved "Sassy". Again Doctor's Thank you for all that you do on a daily basis. Pet owners love / respect what you do. I know I do!Rose Riggan ~ Your Working Realtor,
