Provided by YP.comMy family has been frequenting Tai LI since 2000 and we have yet to tire of the menu. It is nestled in a strip shopping center easily overlooked. It is a gem once you grace the inside with exceptional attention, a varied menu and a clean well mancured environment. Our child loves the kids menu frequently opting for the chicken and fries. My husband and I love the house fried rice with shrimp. pork and chicken. We have enjoyed many items on the menu but are particularly fond of the beef with mixed vegables with mild garlic sauce or the chicken with vegetables. They will personalize your request and are able to add the spice to your liking. It is always a two meal ordeal for us. The left overs make a great next lunch. The prices are easy on pocket. Great ambience, good food, fairly priced and likely to keep you commg back for more.

Provided by YP.comI'm 11 years old and my family and i went to Tai Li Chinese restaurant. I rate the restaurant a four because: 1) we didn't have to wait for a table.2) food was great. 3) The waiter knew what else we needed before we asked for it. He also checked on us like he should. 4) Didn't wait long before food arrived. 5) The restaurant was clean and had excellent service. The food that i would recommend off the children's menu would be the fried shrimp with fries--very tasty!!!

Provided by YP.comThis is my second review of Tai Li restaurant. My family really likes their style of food, different flavors, fun dishes and the great service. The restaurant has changed the decor since Chinese New Year. The tables have white tablecloth with crisp green fabric overlay and the green cloth napkins are shaped for each place setting. The interior dining room is comfortable and inviting with plenty of room to just relax and enjoy a nice meal. The waiters are friendly and they really care about making sure you are happy. Now for the food: Enjoy a nice hot bowl of Wonton Soup or Egg Drop Soup... they are fantastic. The crab puffs have small lumps of crab meat, perfect for a simple appetizer before meals. The Sparks Chicken is an enjoyably different dish... not the traditional flavors but its covered in a rich broth gravy and cooked just to the point of tenderness. I ordered the Two Treasures in a Nest... a different take on traditional "Chinese" food, it is served in a fried potato nest. The chicken and shrimp were nicely prepared and I found myself enjoying the whole combination. The flavor is mildly spicy and not typical Chinese fare... an enjoyable Asian sauce that may originate from some remote part of China... possibly an acquired taste, but it only took a few minutes for the spices to blend and the textures to dance. It is highly recommended if your looking for something a little different. Orange Beef was juicy and well seasoned, with a rich orange sauce. Tai Li is definitely worth trying and is a great restaurant for friends and family. Prices are very reasonable. Four adults can eat well for only $40.00 + tip. You will want to leave a tip because the waiters are so nice and helpful. Ask questions... they KNOW the dishes and can have the chef make a dish to your enjoyment if you ask.
My only criticisms are these: White rice, while inexpensive and traditional, just doesn't do it for me as a meal component. China has some excellent wild rices and local rices. Perhaps making a blend of white and wild (or local) rices from China would add some nice texture and uniqueness. It's something no other restaurant is doing and it would help add to the colorful dishes. Also, traditional fortune cookies after dinner are overdone. Every Chinese restaurant has fortune cookies... a nice touch but fully expected, not unussual in the least. Perhaps making some simple, bite-sized sweetened rice cakes for serving after dinner would be a wonderful suprise. With a little color and thought... it could make a nice send-off treat for your guests. Lastly, please paint the front entrance. A nice golden tan or some warm colors in the entryway will make the whole restaurant seem more cozy and inviting. This was a long review... but let me sum it up by saying this restaurant is well worth experiencing.
