Provided by YPmobileI'm sad to say that our family recently had a very bad experience with the service department. Stuff happens and people make mistakes. You can tell the most about a business by how they respond when they've made a mistake. They did not try to make it right. The manager was rude instead of responsive even though we were nice and respectful when bringing the matter to his attention. So we can't trust them to so much as change oil anymore. It's a shame. Our whole family WAS Toyota brand loyal but if we can't trust the service department, how can we shop there? They've lost multiple vehicle sales over a few hundred bucks. It's a shame.

Short version of my very long horrible experience. I brought my car in for a safety recall and told them not to do anything but the recall, they told me that it would take two hours, it took over 4. Once I got my car and left to go home, I got half way there and my car over heated and I had to pull over on the side of the highway. They had went in and done a full inspection of the engine, without my permission and in doing so they left the radiator cap off. When I called them I was met with hostility and uncooperative language and behavior and hung up on the first time I called. The second time I talked to their service manager and after determining that it was not safe to drive to the dealership and I didn't trust them, the service manager told me to bring it to my mechanic and have him call me. I felt blown off and called Toyota Coorporate they impressed upon the service manager his responsibilities. He still gave me alot of runaround, and lied to Toyota Coorporate when he told them that his dealership had already fixed the matter and all repairs and services had been done, MY mechanic was still doing evaluations of the damages and no one from the dealership knew where my car was let alone had touched it. My mechanic called them to open a line of communication and inform them of their damages, when they told him, they had already done it, he told them no he had had the vehicle and no one had been to his shop. I called to give the bill to the dealership to get compensated and after calling 6 times and being hung up on, I called the owner and left a very direct message and called Toyota Coorporate again. Finally, after calling Coorporate and the owner the service manager called me to find out how much he owed me and to cut me a check. This dealership is obviously fine with doing unethical business practices and has no business continuing to service vehicles when neglagance and miscommunication could have ended in the loss of a life. All I can think of is what if I had kept my plans and been heading into Downtown on 59S during rush hour when my car overheated and I not noticed, someone could have died. I am not expecting anything from this, expect to save someone else the heartache, anger, and grief I went through. Do NOT go to this dealership, for your own safety and sanity go out of your way to go some where else.

This was my second vehicle purchase from Tejas Toyota within 6 months. My sales person Cornell Bledsoe was very knowledgeable about the Tundra and he was able to get me a great deal and he even delivered the vehicle to my home! I will probably have the vehicle serviced at a dealership that is a little closer to my side of down but I will definitely purchase all of my future vehicles from Tejas Toyota.

My wife and I purchased a Tundra from Tejas just last week and our experience was phenomenal!! The personell were very down to earth and were willing to work with us to get the exact truck we wanted. Our sales assosiate (Kevin Young) knew his trucks more than anyone else I have met and bent over backwards to make sure our truck was flawless when we picked it up! We will definitely be coming back to Tejas for years to come.

(06/18/11) I went to Tejas Toyota car shopping with my 18 y/o daughter. We walked into Tejas Toyota and they were obviously busy so we stood and waited for someone to come assist us. While standing there waiting, a large man (salesman?) sat at his desk and more than twice looked up at me only to ignore me. After standing there about 5 minutes a male customer enters the store (I am a female and mind you we are standing right inside that door) and the large car salesman runs right over to him to ask if he could assist him. I just stood there as my jaw dropped in disbelief! I said in a raised voice, "REALLY???" I explained that I had been standing there only to be ignored and a male customer walks in and he runs right to him. This less than a man car salesman tells me that they obviously are not going to be able to help me and that I could leave! We did just that. We left and went to ROBBINS CHEVROLET where we were treated very nicely and my daughter bought a 2010 Toyota Corolla.

Sales people are not very knowledgable, went to thier lot the other day $5000.00 dollar up charge on a new Pruis. Ask the sales man what AVM ment he had to go ask. Basicly it means we are going to stick it to you because we have what you want, and you will pay more for the privilege of buying it from us. I laughed all the way off the lot. I drive a Pruis. Check it out this is the lowest rated Toyota business in the Houston area.
