STAY AWAY RIP OFF DEALERSHIP, The owner Don Dowden is a liar and a thief He also Sell Real Estate for REMAX in the woodlands. He preys on people with little money and then rips them off. Brad and Ellie are liars too. This dealership is there just to take your money. Check all the reviews on this company before your sorry. Numerous people have had bad dealings with them also myself. They took advantage of my father who has a brain tumor. shame on them

I financed a vehicle from Butler Direct to which I've had a few issues. On October 16, 2015, our 2000 GMC Yukon XL was repossessed for lack of insurance. At that point in time, we did have insurance, but the office manager, Ellizette told us that we did not have insurance. An initial phone call was made, and Ellie answered the phone and we told her the vehicle had insurance, she stated it did not then proceeded to call us liars. We then called All State to make sure we were insured to which they assured us that we were and also told Direct Auto & Ellie that we also were, indeed, insured. These phone calls went back & forth nearly all day until the issue was resolved. Direct Auto agreed to bring the vehicle back to our home the very next day. Direct Auto blamed the error on All State & no apologizes were ever given regarding their egregious actions. Moving ahead to November 23, 2015, we we get a knock at the door @11:00 pm, which is a Monday. we look through peephole & we see it is Ellie at the door. We open the door & right off the bat, she starts spouting off about how we are 2 payments behind on the vehicle & if we don't give her the keys, she'll be forced to call the police & file a police report stating that the vehicle is stolen & we could face criminal charges if we didn't hand over the keys now. I then told her that we weren't 2 payments behind & that I could prove it with the receipts that I have. There was some brief shouting, mostly done by her as she kept demanding the keys to the vehicle. Finally, I relented & handed her the keys mainly because it was late at night & didn't want my neighbors to know my business.(As we came to later find out that she was in breach of peace under the repossession law). For cause & effect, we have receipts & witnesses to validate our complaint. This ordeal has caused quite a stir for me due to the face that I'm disabled & I have Tumor in my head.

These folks are great! The most diverse vehicle inventory I've ever browsed, and the staff & management are awesome! They have lots of financing options, and they work with you and explain everything as you go through the process. Plus, they actually know a lot about their vehicles, which is a very welcome (yet not so common) characteristic with used car dealers.
