Provided by YP.comI've got 4 tattoos, each given from a different person in a different shop in Jackson, TN. I've been happy with these tattoos but I have to say none of them measure up to what Mr. Domo did for me last week. This man is the whole package; he is a master artist, gifted musician, served our country, a family loving man, and has had a lot of tragedy in his life with no chip on his shoulder whatsoever. I went in for a cover up of a portrait that was too small to begin with causing the features to bleed over time. I chose a tribal siamese cat for the cover. Mr. Domo tweeked the picture I took in and 4 hours later, I left with the most awesome looking tattoo I could have dreamed of. I also got to know this wonderful man and feel blessed he shared his life with me. He has traveled the world and known a lot of people over the years and passes that wisdom on to those fortunate enough to hear it. I will never consider a tattoo from anyone else except Mr. Domo; his shop was clean, his prices better than anyone in our West TN area, and his staff will work with you to give you the best tattoo you would want. I don't know what in the world the people were talking about on this site that left bad feed back. My experience was nothing less than A+ and I feel so fortunate to say I've got ink done by the one and only Mr. Domo!

Provided by YPmobileShawna was the Artist that put my first ink on my bicep. She was professional and very reassuring. She put a "Xi'an" symbol on me. Her work was flawless, quick and didn't break me to get it done. I love it and will be back.

Provided by YP.comIf your looking to get a great tattoo this is the place. The shop was clean, no loud music, no people hanging around. Domo did an awlsome job on my new tattoo and his prices are way below the other shops that I checked out. Do yourself a favor and go see them in Humboldt, you will not regret it. I give this shop a 10 Stars rating

Provided by YP.comFrom reading all the reviews about the other shops in and around Jackson it became quite clear to me that these shops wrote up their own reviews, as many as three times each day ( check the dates ) within a few months of being in business. I find it a little hard to believe they would go from getting 3 reviews a day to not getting any reviews for months afterwards. It seems to me, of the three reviews about this shop, that two are from people that didn't really get anything or spend any money at that shop. After being in business 40 years I would think there most be thousands of people who got tattooed by Mr. Domo, and only 1 found the time to write a review. This alone should tell you something about the reviews written about these shops. If you want a tattoo or piercing, go to each shop and look around, ask questions. Each tattooer has their own style and most can copy the style of other artist. Keep in mine you'll only get what your willing to pay for

Provided by YP.comi recently went into domo's shop "in person" to inquire about having a long unfinished tattoo finally put to a finished state. as soon as i walk in his shop in humboldt he is laying there on his couch, does not bother to get up or anything, just lays there, i can look past that, its all good. man wants to relax or whatever he was doin. i start asking him about prices for finishing the work, $100 an hour. but at the same time he is rudely refusing the work, i would not be so pissed about him refusing if he had done it in a decent way. instead he tells me to go back to whomever started the piece, which i would have if the guy had not moved to utah. and he starts telling me and my fiancee that he has 30+ years of experience or some other BS and that if you come into his shop, what you want absolutley has to be already drawn out the way you want it unless you want something that 100,000 other people have gotten put on their bodies from his wall of shame,so then i pull out a handy dandy sheet of paper that i had drawn on before we went to his shop that had a whole seperate peice of work on it. and asked him how much he would charge me to have it put on, and guess what?. he refuses to put that on me as well and for no good reason other than, "I DONT WANT TO MESS WITH THAT" now mind you that this entire time i have been civil and curteous to him and all he can say is "im not an artist im only in this for the money" oh yeah. and that "he cant think for me what i want" even though i have it drawn out in front of him, i guess im kinda glad that he refused the work because i honestly dont want anybody putting a needle to my skin that does not at least have some litte ounce of passion and proffesionalism for what they do in life. i would not advise anybody go to this guy, i dont care how long he's been doin it and to how many people, a douche is still a douche. nobody should be treated and talked to like i was for no good reason by a business owner
Dragonfs77: I will respone to the issues you bring before the public on this form. Yes! I was resting on my couch when you came into my shop. You ask if I would finish up your tattoos that you had gotten somewhere else. I looked up and I could tell that you have spent many hours in the gym getting buffed, spent many dollars somewhere else getting sleeved out. You came across as thinking the world owes you something. Coming into my shop wanting me to finish something someone else had started. I told you to stick with the same artist that started your tattoos. I told you up front that I didn't want to mess with it. At that point the conversation was over. That was your cue to leave. You kept on asking questions, how long have I been tattooing, how much do I charge, how long does it take. Your attitude sucked, and that put you in the same douch bag league as me. Now for the issues, custom tattooing cost anywhere from $100 to $150 dollars an hour at every shop in Tennessee, thats just the price of doing business. You first went from finishing your sleeves to pulling out the little handy-dandy sheet of paper with something you had drawn. Wanting it to cover your back from shoulder to shoulder. Something I would have to re-draw to fit. I had already told you that I didn't want to mess with it. As for the wall of shame as you call it. Those designs where drawn by some of the most famous tattoo artist in the world, and they hang in every shop in the world. There for the people to look at to get some kind of idea and to turn and tweek into a personnal design to fit there price range, nothing more. As for the money. I'm sure that your other artist didn't give you those sleeves for free, he charged you just like any of the backyard tattoo jockeys are doing. There in it for the money just like your other artist was in it to make money. As for that comment, he can't think for me what I want. Thats called being a mine reader, I have never mastered that skill even tho I'm still working on it ever chance I can. The fact is you didn't want to pay me to re-draw your little design to fit your back. For the issue of 30+ years or some BS. It's a documented fact that I've been a tattooist for well over 40+ years. As for my being a douch. Son! I take that as a complement. I've been called worse by better people. As for my passion for tattooing. Mister! I have devoted my life to this trade for the last 40 years, given up my freedom, my family life, not being there for my children when they needed a father, working 80 hours a week for years at a time with no days off just so I could serve the public. You want to talk about passion, you'll never know the meaning of the word passion. So the bottom line is when I told you that I don't want to mess with. You should have left.
