Run don't walk away from this auction house if you're looking to sell items. Our mother moved to a nursing home and sold a house full of items and received only $31.A friend's mother received only $60 for her items. He charged over $100 to pick the items up and dispose of the ones that were not sold. Charges huge 45% Commission on items up to a certain value, which most of our items were. Also charged $100 for identifying one piece of art as being valuable. He DID NOT appraise it, just said it was a valuable piece. We chose to go with a specialized art auction for that piece and some other items he didn't want, and he got very mad and unprofessional because he didn't get that piece. He added $100 onto our final bill just for identifying it as valuable!! My brother sells a lot of her items on Ebay and researches value before he sells. When called, owner Jay Ziegler would not reverse that fee and got very nasty and unprofessional and hung up on us! Do not use this auction company! Our 90+ year old mother made $31 out of a lifetime of pieces. He takes advantage of the elderly and their situations. Sell your items on Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, etc, donate the rest, and make 10+ times more profit for your loved ones. Seriously.
