I went into 84 Lumber in Huntersville to order a mahogany entry door in October of 2016. I found the door that I wanted with brass cam around the glass and a prefinished rosewood stain. The door was ordered and after I got home I saw that the caming was nickle instead of brass and called and was told that despite what was in the catalog that the brass caming was not available. I said ok, I would live with the nickle. When the door was delivered I asked to look at it before it was taken off the truck. It was the door that I wanted but was unfinished. I got my receipt and I had paid for a pre-finished door and the one delivered was most definitely unfinished. The delivery people called 84 Lumber and after about 45 minutes we were told that despite what was in the catalog the door only came as unfinished and by the way they had to order it from a different company than the catalog I had chosen from. I decided to keep the door because it was there and I didn't want to have to shop around for another door but they did give me a $400 credit. It cost far more than $400 to have the door finished and I was not able to locate the stain that I wanted. If you go to 84 Lumber be very careful to ensure that you are getting what you want.
