Established in 1960, J.M. Alexander Middle School serves students in sixth through eighth grades. It is a part of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and is located in Huntersville, N.C. The school operates a parent-teacher association that provides planning and implementation of a variety of fundraising activities for the benefit of the school. It has a team of guidance counselors that assists students in selecting appropriate courses to support their educational and career goals. In addition, the school s staff includes a nurse, psychologist, speech pathologist and registrar. J.M. Alexander Middle School provides coaching in several athletic events, such as football, volleyball, softball, basketball and cheerleading.
