Our HVAC stopped cooling a few days ago, which normally would be ok in October but not with 90F outside! After going through my HVAC DIYer checklist and watching dozens of YouTube videos I realized that the job was beyond my pay grade. While I am always up for a challenge to learn how to do things myself and save $$, when it comes to major items like HVAC, electric or gas repairs I always opt for a certified professional.

Joey came in with a reasonable quote and performed the initial assessment, working around my schedule. His assessment and suggestions were focused on what our needs were rather than trying to sell us the next best system, so we really appreciated his work ethic and integrity. He also provided a complementary assessment for my mom’s system, who has a condo a few minutes away, so that was a nice perk.

After walking us through possible options we settled on full coil replacement (it was leaking) and upping the refrigerant (which was low due to the leak). He ordered the parts and completed the install within 2 days, again working around our schedule and taking the time to do it right and not leave a huge mess. He also offered us annual maintenance service (with 3 very reasonably priced tiers), but again, without trying to pressure us into it or making it look like a “used car salesman” pitch.

For someone who is still in his twenties and runs his own company, I was hugely impressed with how professional and organized Joey was: from having a solid easy to understand website and professional brand appearance to embracing technology for diagnosing system issues and generating quotes/invoices/payments using his iPad.

Overall well done and would highly recommend his services to our friends and family.

We have a very old system and it went out for the first time this year. With having 3 kids in our home, having no air conditioning is the worst! Carolina Copper HVAC came out the same night it happened, diagnosed for free, and fixed it. When it’s time to upgrade, we’ll definitely be using this company!

My AC went out in the middle of the night. Called Carolina Copper HVAC and they were able to get to me quickly and repair my system. Joey was great and I would recommend this company to anyone who had hvac issues.

Love Carolina Copper! This company came out for free and repaired my system for almost half of what the other bigger companies were going to charge. My ac system went out last week and wasn’t working at all. I called a couple companies I heard about on the radio and they were going to charge me a diagnostic fee and like $800 to fix my fan motor. Carolina Copper is a great compay and will continue to use them.
