If I could rate Tantopia on a negative 5 stars- I would. I was a monthly customer paying 61 dollars a month in Ephrata PA and when I moved to Bucks County, I specifically told my realtor I look for a close fitness center and tanning salon when choosing a house to purchase. I paid $61 for a month up front only to find that Tantopia Warminster Closed without bothering to call or email anyone about it's closing. I walked to the door to find a small typed paper with other locations all 25 minutes away or more from my house. Not to mention the entire 10 months in Warminster they would close 45 minutes early or just not open at all on random days. I was charged for $61 for THIS month again on March 6, 2015- 6 days after Warminster Location had permanently closed- taking me to May 5 so I can drive 25 minutes for a 12 minute lay down bed- not the 8 minute lay down bed for which I have paid the premium price. The owner should have emailed everyone and refunded their first month and given them the option of choosing to drive the distance or pick another salon. It is pure theft and deception. I have never in my life been so frustrated with a company and I should have switched months ago when I saw them being rude to a customer who decided instantly he wanted to cancel his membership. If this is how the owner runs his "business' I do not see ANY Tantopia surviving much longer. I can tan at my gym, at my work, at hotels I travel to for work, yet I chose to spend my money on this thief who doesn't have the common courtesy to even contact his own customers out of what... 9 stores? to tell them that their local salon has closed. Premium Philadelphia Tanning Salon- what a joke. I'd rather go to Hollywood tans who actually remains open until closing time and has extended weekend/ evening hours then EVER join another Tantopia. Not the first Tantopia I have seen shut down randomly and certainly will not be the last.

Owner never calls back to discuss issues. I advised lights were out in tanning booth, still not fixed. You cannot cancel unless you go into the store. Poor service

Don't go!!!!! They would not cancel my account unless I went into the center. When I arrived there was a sign on the door saying " BE BACK IN 15 MINUTES". Five people tried to go while I was stuck outside just to cancel and it was a half hour. I was charged for two more months. The customer service rep was rude on the phone and the owner gave me half a credit after 20 minutes of refusing to fix my problem. THEY TOTALLY WASTED MY TIME AND I WAS OVER CHARGED.
