My husband and I are buying a new home and suddenly there is a collection posted on my husband's credit report. I contacted this company who had filed the credit issue. He agreed that my husband's first name and address are not the same as the follow he's "after" but refused to assist me in clearing my husband's credit. He blamed TransUnion for the error and simply would not write a letter to confirm my husband was not the person who owed this debt. He admitted that he did not have a social security number for the debtor which seems to be a very strange way to try to report a bad debt since it leaves lots of room for error.

When I called this company to resolve false debt that came up on my credit report, they refused to cooperate. They said my name was to common & it wasn't their problem. They said my dad should've given me a better name and I should have immigration change it. They said I should do society a favor and go back where I came from!! They refused to clear my name using my social or driver's license. They only use name and address to file accounts. Since I have the same name as my dad & lived with him at the time they put it on my account and refuse to take it off!!
