If you are inquiring about selecting a driving instructor, look no further. I just passed my driving test at age 82 because of the very thorough driving course I took from Stephan from Drive Quest. This was made possible for the following reasons:

· He encouraged me to believe I was capable of passing the test even when I became discouraged.

· He was very patient when I asked the same questions never remarking that he had already answered them before.

· I felt comfortable asking simple questions even though I should have known the answers.

· He covered every item that could possibly come during my driving test.

· He had excellent knowledge of every aspect of driving including all the DMV rules and laws.

· He supplied me with booklets that the DMV should have made available to me.

· He never raised his voice when I made mistakes. He was always very polite and very considerate.

It has been a very pleasant experience knowing Stephan and I was thankful that I found him. I would highly recommend Stephan as a driving instructor. He is kind, caring and very dedicated to helping achieve results.

Several months ago I requested information regarding a driving school which specialized in Senior driving issues required by the DMV for reinstatement of driving privileges or renewal. I was offered the name of Drive Quest located in Huntington Beach. The educational director contacted me and I began an assessment and lessons to meet the qualifications of the Department of Safety of the DMV. I can recommend him and his organization as very efficient, informed, and knowledgeable about the requirement as well as teaching methods that facilitated the learning of specific skills required to pass the test. He is able to access the student’s learning style and adjust his methods of teaching to be highly effective. As I view the content necessary to pass this specialized test, I can see that it would have been impossible to meet the criteria expected without learning specific skills and changes in the DMV code that are pertinent. Without hesitation I would recommend Drive Quest for anyone seeking instruction to pass the DMV behind the wheel test.

The instructor talked too much which was distracting while driving...also constantly pointing out minor flaws like "oh work on the soft stop" while i am in the process of entering the intersection! (Big deal!!) My breaking was not erratic at all and still he was being "nit-picky" about it. Plus you have to drive in the most ghetto part of OC. Lame and a waste of money-Search elsewhere.
