UPDATE: Problem resolved. The day after I posted this review, I received a text from one of the managers, David Nehrir, who apologized for the bad experience I'd had. Furthermore, they mailed a check refunding the fraudulent charges.

INITIAL POST: The finance staff Leo (I don’t know his last name) and Cisco Mejia fraudulently charged me $628. I explicitly stated that I did not want to buy any optional goods or services. Leo said that the Nitrofill and Etch theft deterrent device were included on all vehicles at no additional charge. The Etch was $199. The Nitrofill was $179. I explicitly stated that I did not want the vehicle contract cancellation option, and they charged me $250 for that.

I have called and left voicemails repeatedly and have never received a call back. I have exchanged 7 emails with the finance staff, but they have not communicated anything with me regarding the fraudulent charges.

All of their paperwork was on a screen. On each screen, Leo told me what I was signing and then scrolled to the bottom where I signed. I was not able to see that he checked boxes that were the exact opposite of what I said. They put the paperwork on a flash drive but did not give it to me when I left. I was not given any paperwork or receipts except one that listed the payment I gave at the time of purchase. When I came back to Huntington Beach (I live in San Diego) to pay the balance on my car, I asked for a receipt, and that’s when I saw the extra $628 of charges. I met with Alex Sandoval who said his manager would need to talk to his manager before the charges could be reversed. It has now been over 6 weeks of me calling and emailing them and hearing nothing back.

On their website, their core values include truthfulness, responsiveness, and consistency. I have experienced the exact opposite of these. The finance department has been deceitful, dishonest, unresponsive, and unreliable. These fraudulent charges and the process of trying to get my $628 back have caused a great deal of emotional and mental stress as well as financial hardship. The good experience I had with their salesman T. Wayne and their competitive pricing has been completely erased by their finance team’s deceitfulness.

Very Dishonest Dealer, be very careful when dealing on a new car purchase. I saw an internet discount price, emailed them over the weekend then called the assigned sales representative. I was out of state and had to fly in to secure the purchase. Before committing to a flight I checked the with the Sales rep everyday for three days to confirm that the vehicle was available and the price had not changed. When I arrived again I confirmed with the sales rep on availability and price was confirmed to the "special" internet offering. Only when the deal was written up and the assistant sales manager presented the deal the price was now $2,000 more and the "special" internet price was not available. After negotiating for one an hour the sales manager offered a reduced financing rate that would get back about a thousand bucks. So we split the difference. But thats not all, when presented with the final financing options they found an addition 1/2 point lower interest rate. Wow I thought great but I was told that I would have to buy extra maintenance and value programs costing $1,000 to get it. I was told the banks want to work with customers getting extra "value" packages and generously give lower rates. Deceived twice and feel like an idiot to fall for the deception and manipulation. Oh and I waited for hours to get the purchase and get out of there. Take away, be very careful on "special" pricing and financing scams. Buyer Beware!!!!

Huntington Beach Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram -- Deceptive, Dishonorable, Disappointing – DO NOT TRUST THEM!

Having purchased vehicles from HB Jeep before, and having recommended them to many of my 940 clients over the years; I was EXTREMELY disappointed today in their lack of integrity – even after admitting they screwed up! I saw them add for 2 vehicles I was looking for, contacted their sales person and made arrangements to purchase before the 1 ½ drive each way and verified the pricing!

Within 10 minutes of arrival, I noticed that the MSRP on the vehicle’s window sticker was significantly LOWER than what they said in them adds; making their discount less than advertised. I pointed this out to the salesman, who said – “I’ve never seen this happen before. My apologies. I’m sure my manager will honor the error.” I mentioned that maybe the other vehicle was correct; sad to say, it too had the same deceptive error. What are the odds! If you’ve ever bought from them, you were probably quietly screwed too.

1 ½ hours later, after having most all the work completed to purchase the vehicle; the manager admitted the error; but, said that “in small print, it says if a mistake is made, we don’t honor them”.

I’m an employer, if my employee makes an error – I will do my best to honor it and serve the client. They admitted the error but was unwilling to make even a ONE-dollar adjustment towards the $1,000 error.

Thus, they went from being a vendor I would recommend to a deceptive, dishonorable dealer. I would suggest that you avoid them. HONOR DOESN’T MATTER IN POLITICS; but, it should matter in business!

Tom Cruise, Doug, Stan all lied to me and could care less about selling me a vehicle. AVOID THIS PLACE LIEK THE PLAGUE. they don't give a crap about selling you a car because they figure somebody else less intelligent will come along and buy the same car for more, so what motivation do they have to sell it to you when you want a good deal, or THE PRICE ADVERTISED ON THEIR WEBSITE. I gave them 3 chances, spoke to 3 different salesman about a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Sport listed for $15,999 on the website (they had like 50 of them) and every single sales person said, NO I'm different, I'm here to help you, blah blah blah. No matter how respectful or direct you are with them, these people don't give a crap about any of that. they all lied and said they would send me the OTT offer for the jeep since I WOULD HAVE been coming from 3 hours away, and not a single one did. BUT OF COURSE, they harass your cell phone! they don't actually want to help you, they just want to berate you to death so you just show up at their dealership all pathetic. no thanks. I'd rather give my business to a dealership that treats me with respect, which is VERY OBVIOUSLY NOT THIS DEALERSHIP.

Buyer be very aware!I purchased my new to me car a while back and did a pretty through inspection of the vehicle. Im no mechanic but I am not unfamiliar with vehicles.

The sales teams mantra " Its on the CarFax" Everything seemed fine so I bought it.

Later I find that there was damage that was intentionally hidden. Be it by the dealer or what ever auction place sold it to the dealer. The nature of the damage leads me to believe the dealer had to have known the repairs were made or made the shoddy repairs themselves. Body parts were super glued in place.

The lesson cost me a couple thousand dollars to learn. Have your vehicle inspected by a reputable mechanic should you do business here. It is NOT all on the CarFax.
