Absolutely the worst. Besides ...

Absolutely the worst. Besides the incredibly cramped space with no place to walk around and boxes stacked to the ceiling right next to the main entrance, the one person working (who I only assume is the owner) couldn't have been less helpful. I needed to assess a few repairs on an engine, for which he wanted to charge $25 to even open the box and look at it. Out of all of the shops I called, he was the only one with this policy.

That doesn't even compare to his unbelievably rude response when I asked about the price of new couplers for trailer cars: "I don't get real excited having to read the catalog to people. You need to do some research before you even come down here."

This shop owner seemed to be far more concerned about trying to prove that he knew more than you, rather than treating the customer well and providing information. One thing is for sure...I will never return nor will I recommend this business to anyone.

On the other hand, Allied Model Trains in Culver City or Milepost 38 in Anaheim are great places. Friendly, reasonably priced and willing to answer any questions you have. Go there instead.

Morgan's Big Trains Emporium is a total waste of time and energy.
