Provided by YP.comI'm baflled by these postings. My daughter went to this school from PreK through Kindergarten and I loved it. Her teachers were wonderful and she always came home happy. She was tested for entrance into a private school and tested very high with excellent remarks from her new school. I never had a problem with the administration. They seemed very nice and tried to help when there was any problem. I encourage anyone interested to take all of these postings (good or bad) with a grain of salt and tour yourself! Listen to your mommy and daddy gut instinct. Don't be swayed by someone you don't even know!

Provided by YP.comI totally agree with this posting. My first montessori was the worst experience our family has ever had and we have three older children.
They move the kids around based on openings in the class and not on their level of knowledge. I really don't know "how" they are called a Montessori, because they seem to only teach the "number rods" that drive most of the kids crazy! We moved our kids to Pattie's Place in HB and found a way better preschool.
(oh yeah, I've been reviewing the other comments on my first montessori in HB, and it looks like Amanda the head principle is writing all of the "great" reviews...and she works there! She is obviousness trying to cover up there horrific job. So don't pay much attention to the "five star" reviews, it's just them giving themselves a leg up)

Provided by YP.comMy two children have been going to MFM for 2 years and I couldn't be happier with my choice. I picked the school initially because their hours fit my needs, but I have kept my children there because I am confident that I am leaving them in the best of care. They love their teachers and have learned so much since they started here. Thank you, especially Ms. A and G ;).

Provided by YP.comThis school is a dangerous place to place your child. They can't seem to keep their teachers - it's always changing. Because of this they can't keep track of the kids. The kids always have issues. Kids get moved from class to class because they don't have enough coverage. They are suppose to be a montessori but I never hear them talk about their teachings of it. Just a lot of art work. Kids get moved to different levels not based on the child's needs but to open a spot for a higher paying (part-time student vs full time student or kept behind (tuition becomes less the higher the grade).
