Since opening our first location nearly a decade ago on Newport Beachs iconic peninsula, Sessions West Coast Deli has redefined the idea of a neighborhood sandwich shop. Sessions was brought to life from a collaboration between highly driven Orange County born and raised dreamers-slash-entrepreneurs Matt Meddock, Beckham Thomas, and Chef Max Schlutz. We pride ourselves on being relevant, modern, and chef driven, with a commitment to familiar yet premium ingredients. Crushed 1/2 of an #elCubano on ciabatta yesterday. Good lord. Basically there was so much smoked ham and pulled pork I had to save the other 1/2 for later.

Added the house potato chips and a Root Beer.

$15+, I found it to be a very good value.

Besides the food, the restaurant itself is very bright and relaxing. There was surf video streaming, good background music and fresh beach air flowing through. The service was very friendly with regular check-ins at the table.

In light of this experience and the 6 taps of independent brews, I will likely be back many more times.
