I’ve been a patient of Dr Richter for many years. He is and has been the same throughout the years. He is very thorough and very caring as well. He listens and pay close attention to what you’re saying and works accordingly. Even though I moved to the south shore many years ago I still travel in to Huntington to remain his patient. He is the best. I trust him whole heartedly. The staff is also the best especially Kathy who have been making me laugh for years. Little does she know how much it helps.

Office staff are friendly and efficient but the service is dreadful! It was necessary to call numerous times and wait up to 20 min for help!
After requesting an appointment we were told the office would call! They never received the message! So unreliable that we’d prefer to go in person to cancel & reschedule!

He listen even though he cannot anything

The doctor gave me a smart, concise and well explained diagnosis that instilled enough confidence in me too book surgery with him.

He was very professional, compassionate, made me feel better before I got out the office, the office staff was very accommodating and professional

I was prescribed a drop to use for 4 weeks (as an experiment) by Dr. Paolini on Jan 10. After 3 weeks, my eye was itchy and extremely uncomfortable. Sight MD gave me an immediate appointment with Dr. Richter on the day I called (Dr. Paolini was not working that day). Dr. Richter gave me sample steroid drops to use until my appointment with Dr. Paolini on Feb. 14. I felt relief after 1 day. Thanks Dr. Richter!

This was my first time seeing an ophthalmologist. This was a wonderful friendly office and Dr. Richter had a friendly calming professional bedside manner. I was totally happy with my experience.

Medical Staff - excellent - competent, caring professionals!
Office Staff - Good overall. However, Nancy needs help - now!!! The woman does the work of two!! She is great!
Also - I did not appreciate being challenged for an outstanding $15 co-pay immediately upon arrival. Patients, in the waiting area, did not have to overhear that conversation! Turns out that the invoice was received and returned by USPS the prior weekend. Training refresher in customer relations needed here.
Last item - 60-minutes, from scheduled appointment time until I saw Dr. Richter, seemed a tad long.
