Great Vets and Great care for your pet, these other poor ratings are from what I can tell people looking for a hand out. I don't care how you got your pet, from a shelter or Puppy store. They are your responsibility and you should know that before you go out and get a dog or cat or bird. these people should stick to goldfish. Just my opinion ha ha!

Not the same as they used to be. More interested in money rather than the animals. Office staff running around with too much work in order to keep up with the flow of pets. Most of the work done by techs and dog sees vet for about 2 min. Not as personal and compassionate as used to be. Office manager speaks for vet on all financial decisions and has no consideration of any type of payment plan. Pay high prices for being rushed through, I take my dogs elsewhere now.

My husband and I have taken my...

My husband and I have taken my dogs to Dr. Miller for the last few years and I can assure you that his care is above and beyond anything I've ever experienced with other vets.

His treatments have hands down saved my dogs' lives and extended their years on this earth with a much higher quality of life.

It's been nothing short of amazing to see the speedy turn around in the health of both of my dogs due to Dr. Miller's special approach, designed to strengthen the immune system, versus just treating with drugs.

To give you one example, one of our dogs developed a chronic cough and nothing that was given by a previous vet did any good. So we stepped it up and sought out the care of Dr. Miller, and within 1 visit our dog already looked and felt so much better, and within 2 weeks the cough was gone.

Dr. Miller has also expertly treated our other dog for heart disease and with a very simple regimen his heart condition has improved significantly, hence adding years to his life.

Shady Business

I got my puppy from Canine Corral (another issue, including that the vet is in on it to sell his line of products) and took him to the vet the store worked with, Animal Wellness Center, since it was suppose to be a 'free' visit. The vet was fine, asked me if I planned to fix the dog and said he wanted him back for another booster the front desk would set me up. I went the front desk, they asked me when I could come backand rang me up for $134 I gave them the next date I was available and they printed out an invoice. I asked how much the procedure would cost and they said 350. I told them I would be taking him somewhere else for that. The woman said I wouldn't need to bring himbackso soon and rescheduled him for the following week. I asked her what the deposit was for, she said it was for the neutering but that I can just use it towards my next visit. In the meantime I decided it was not worth driving 45 min to take to this place. So I found an amazing place in Sayville and called to cancel my appointment at Animal Wellness ctr. When I asked them about my credit there, they said that they would call me back since I had used my care credit account. A few days go by, I called again, they said I would need to speak to the office manager and she would call me back. A few more days go by and I call again, finally speak with the office manager. Not only was she rude but tried to say I was lying that no one documented my credit. I told her that I had my pups chart faxed to me earlier since I wanted a complete record for him at the new place and they noted in the chart that I was suppose to get a credit. She said that there was nothing she could do, especially since I was not planning to return. I had my new vet in Sayville go through everything they did, he said they were going to give my puppy boosters that he did not need and that the food they recommend is overpriced, I could get something less expesive and just as nutritous for less. The supplements they had me giving him were too much. The one for the healthy coat was too big and would go bad before I was half way through and it was not necessary to give him three different kinds of supplements. Watch out for the over pricing and over selling.
