Two days ago, I was at this Petsmart to buy my dog a new collar, and I walked by the Bird Habitat and fell in love with a budgie parakeet. So I bought him along with all his necessities. The first night was understandably stressful on my new bird (Mardi), but by the next day I was noticing he still hadn't moved from the spot on his perch nor eaten or drank anything. I Googled the mess out of budgie care/new parakeet/not eating, etc. and all my findings just worried me further- everything said that if my bird didn't eat within 48hrs he would starve. I called the store frantic and explained to an associate named John my concerns. He was so great. He asked questions about Mardi's behavior and his new home, and he gave me suggestions on what to adjust on what I thought was a perfect set up. Well, not thirty minutes later, Mardi is flying from perch to perch, playing with his toys, and eating. I have had favorable experiences at both of Huntsville's Petsmarts, but this was truly an excellent customer service experience. Thank you!
