For people who are being treated by a pain management physician, I recommend that you consult her or him before you make an appointment for therapeutic massage.



It would be most useful to have a written referral from your physician.



For people who have muscle pain, massage therapy can be very useful.



If you are not seeing a pain management physician, then massage therapy may help.
