We were surprised to receive such exceptional customer service. Both in store and delivery experience exceeded expectation. Glad to support local businesses. We will make future purchases at Adam’s Furniture.

Adams Furniture Store in Huntsville, Texas is a small family owned store. The selection is limited; however, my husband and I did want to purchase from a local business. Subsequently, on August/04/2021 we did purchase a La-Z-Boy reclining loveseat with center cushion console. $1,839.17

In October (2-months later) the gently used seat cushions were deteriorating and leaning inward on both sides. The reclining mechanism was also showing signs of defect. So, the week of October 24th - my husband and I went back to the store to talk to the owner’s Son —who told us he would resolve the issue.

2 weeks later - a Adams’ Furniture representative looked at our loveseat and agreed it was defective. The representative said they will replace the cushions. In light of it being defective, I then asked to replace the loveseat all together — or, I would consider a store credit to upgrade toward La-Z-Boy couch in order to avoid future “leaning inward” issues on center console design — and, I would certainly pay for the difference in price. I NEVER asked for anything for free.

Today, November 18th —I received a call from the owner-wife saying No-no-no!!! Very rude lady. Suggesting my husband and I are abusing the furniture— all our fault. What?!? I replied: We are a retired couple with no kids living in our house. “It’s a gently-used loveseat that is acting like it’s 5-years old in only 3-months!”. That’s ridiculous.

So, now we are basically stuck with almost a Two-Thousand Dollar — three-month-old piece of junk, with a La-Z-Boy furniture tag on it. Buyer BEWARE!! Customers do NOT come first at Adams Furniture. Most people (including myself) do not have nearly $2,000 to throw out the window. If Adams Furniture decides to do what is right - I will be more than happy to update that information on this website. Otherwise, I HIGHLY suggest you do your furniture shopping elsewhere.
